I love this hotel. Definitely my favorite place to stay in Pittsburgh. Mattresses are firm, rooms are cool, and the aesthetics are so cool. Much better than the beige standards at the huge chains!

Charming place. Not terribly clean, but decent. Friendly, competent staff. The hotel restaurant — not bad.

The house keeping is terrible, and I was told they don’t even have a house keeping during 11pm-8am! Our room didn’t even change the breedings, I found a pink pill on the carpet. When I asked the guest service sent someone to change the cleaned beddings and sheets for us, the front desk guy came, and I had to help him to change everything! The poor front desk guy had to come back and forward several times for having different set of beddings, because some of them are either broken from the edge, or had dirty spot somewhere, we throw away a pillow had dried blood on!!! That is my first night of our Christmas trip in 2019, and I will not recommend any of my friends to stay in this hotel for sure, it is a negative number for grading, a thumb down hotel!

The design! Rooms were spacious and front desk staff were so helpful!

This was our first trip to Pittsburgh and we absolutely loved staying here . Everything from the location , to the restaurant to happy hour to the wonderful staff made us want to come back very soon . Even the bedrooms kind of have a collective funky vive to them

Chose this hotel because the price was great and wanted a place to stay within walking distance of the PPG area (20 min walk at most). This hotel was close driving distance to Phipps Conservatory and the Carnegie Science Center, which were the two major attractions we squeezed into a one night stay. We also drove to the top of Mt. Washington which was also a short drive. My only complaint is the hotel does not have its own parking garage, but there was a garage around the corner.

I absolutely loved our stay at the Kimpton Monaco! The staff is so very friendly acting like it was are tenth time there not our first. Our rooms were beautiful and the housekeepers even left us a little welcome note. The Kimpton represents how our country should be- welcoming of all people regardless of race, color, amount of money you have or religion... and the fact that they allowed dogs...that is the best. Thank you Kimpton Monaco! Can’t wait to come back!

The decor is beautiful. The free wine and beer at the daily Happy Hour is wonderful and shows the appreciation they have for their guests. What I recommend, though, is a room above the fifth floor for those facing the back of the hotel, as there are trucks and cooling units that make noise throughout the night and early morning.

The property was close to everything and pet friendly

Spacious room, nice staff, comfortable bed. Parking was a little expensive, but better than finding street parking.

Although I have already reached out to you personally regarding the housekeeping issues you experienced during your stay, I wanted to apologize again for this experience. This truly is not our standard at The Monaco and I really hope that we get the chance to make this up to you in the future.
