The hotel is perfectly adequate, nothing special. Was a little surprised that the staff weren't really wearing any sort of uniform, mostly just jeans and a shirt (exception - guy behind counter in the morning was very nicely dressed). But all very friendly. Also, the driveway and parking lot are very potholed and cracked. I know this is a 'Pittsburgh' thing, but a lousy first impression.

Very friendly hospitable female staff upon check-in. She was very welcoming and informative. The food selection was more than what I expected. Many food selections & extremely clean area. My check out was enjoyable as well. The male staff was very friendly & hospitable as well. He is definitely a people person. This is quite impressionable. It's refreshing to know & meet people who are genuinely happy & they love what they do. I will definitely return when I am in the area. Only disappointment for me is that the swimming pool was not opened during my stay. I really could have used that.

The marble table was sticky. All the staff was very very helpful.

The breakfast buffet was great. The shuttle service to and from Steelers game was EXCELLENT

We loved the shuttle service . It made it so convenient to gobthe the Pirates and Steelers game!

The staff at the front desk were exceptional-friendly and helpful. We came into town for a funeral and they had a room for us so we could change and freshen up.

The Hampton Inn, Greentree is located just outside the city proper which makes for easy access downtown. My wife and I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
