The room was filthy. I arrrived at midnight. All hotels sold out. The bed was not made. The bathroom was filthy and there were dirty towels all over. The toilet was not flushed. I tried to call the front desk. Several times. But nobody answered the phone. I slept on my own clothes and didn’t shower.

I booked this hotel because it had an airport shuttle and pool . Upon arrival , the pool was closed for “ cleaning” . The lobby bathroom had broken sinks and no toilet paper . There were no carts for luggage and no staff who cared enough to help look for one . The carpet in the hallway was held together with black tape, in the room it was soaking wet from the air conditioner, and the tub was covered in rust.

I expected more from Doubletree hotels. The advertisement and photos do not correctly, depict the rundown state of this hotel, which I wanted to leave the minute, I walked in. Desperately needing upgrading if it were to be considered again, but there’s plenty of other options so like everything else why even bother. In my opinion, businesses have only one chance to keep a customer.
