The style of the hotel decor was eclectic and trendy. I was very disappointed the air conditioner didn't work they brought us a little fan and it was hot all night and couldn't sleep very well. The bathtub didn't work on the plug. We had to pull it out to drain the water and it was disgusting
The rooms have a lot of character and are very nicely decorated. Beds and sheets are good quality. The only downside is that the restaurant and rooftop are closed on Sundays so can't have a drink without leaving the property.

The room was not clean and was much smaller than our last stay even though we choose the same type of room. Upon entering the room it appeared that someone had ripped off the front of the safe. The engineer that came by stated that it was a mistake of a junior colleague. When we tried to check in the person behind the desk “waived us off”. After checking out we had to wait a considerable period before our car was brought around. However, we were fortunate since other guests appeared to be waiting for an even longer period of time. All of this is disappointing because we had stayed at the hotel before and had a fine time. We will not be back.
Stayed a a dbl queen room. Nice but small for what you pay. Very little public space in hotel for guests outside of their rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful but seemed overwhelmed at times. I wanted to be close to IH with view. There are probably better value options.
We liked the location of the hotel, it is easy walking to most of the Old Town attractions. The room and the beds are very comfortable. We disliked the no house keeping service to the room, if I would have known this hotel policy, I would not have booked a room at this hotel.
Location of hotel is great. Good customer service. I didn't like how my shower didnt have a door or a curtain. The entite floor got super wet every time. I asked if they can do something about it and they gave me more towels. 😒 The floors had burn spots The room was super small. Not like the pictures when i payed for the room.
Nothing wrong with the place but also nothing really unique about the property to justify the price point. Pretty average hotel. Not really worth the cost unless you really like the location.
Good location within walking distance of historical venues. Room had a strange smell, ran out of hot water on the second day. Restaurant is closed on Wednesday's which was also disappointing.
where do i start....check in was ok...on website it said valet & parking..figured you had to pay for valet but thought parking was included since it did not say additional fee..we chose self park which was not onthe property but around the corner for $29.00 a night (should put on website) the 2 days we stayed everything was closed the restaurant and bar downstairs as well as the rooftop lounge (which again shouldve been listed on website everything is closed on tuesday and wednesday)(which all of the above were the biggest reason for choosing this hotel..)went to take a shower NO HOT WATER had to let water run for about 15 to 20 minutes to get WARM WATER!!!! then we asked for fresh towels...had to ask three times and when we were leaving we got fresh towels ??? i was defintely pissed off had to use same towels 3 times . then the website said daily housekeeping >>NOT this again was another reason for choosing THE KIMPTON.. couldnt find anyone to help us with luggage when leaving..then were billed $75.00 a day for incidentals ??? and were misbilled $1200.00 for 3 days??? took 3 trips to the front desk to get that straightened out So I think you realize by now that we DID NOT have a happy experience with your hotel..I will never recommend your hotel to anyone!! In fact Im going to go on every site I can find to give you a horrible rating so this doesnt happen to anyone else..
