Pros: Check-In Staff was great. Bellhop also. Food was pretty decent. Room service was an 8/10 overall. Burgers at the pool, solid 8/10. Potatoes chips were excellent. Drinks were solid. Love that parking has in and out privileges. Cons:: Room service provides a device with a button to push once ur done. No one came to gather tray. Ended up leaving it on bed for housekeeping. also, asked the front desk to hold a bday cake in which they obliged. They refrigerated it but also they dropped or maybe stumbled with it. Cake was given back to me w/ noticeable imperfections. Not ideal for a surprise cake. Also, POOL which is heated, Was entirely too hot on day 4 of stay where weather was 93 degrees as a high. I’d like to see in the future, temps adjusted according to outside temp. Lastly, inconsistencies w/ staff and pool rules. When i entered pool, there were a plethora of personal cups and beverages. Even saw someone eating MC DONALDS. But upon entry multiple male staff members stated we could not enter with Stanley cup full of ICE although person at entry near elevator stated otherwise. Late check out. Rep stated complimentary late check out is not avail but could be purchased for 50 bucks plus tax per hour. That is robbery. For The W to charge what it does, late check out should not be an hourly charge. That’s a little egregious
