Westin staff were pretty sad looking with no energy to smile or provide pleasant hospitality. They all seemed very bored and non chalant. The first room we got was pretty dilapidated. Ripped carpets, dusty, blankets or comforters that were undersized. The second room we shifted to was better. But still I would have expected better quality for Westin. The valet parking folks and greeters were also not very welcoming and seemed to do the job for the sake of it. I will not book this hotel again in Phili.

We were there two nights and the shower was ice cold so our family of four could never shower. We reported it several times to the front desk and it was never resolved. We also had an awful experience at the breakfast with incredibly slow service, and then after waiting an hour for simple breakfast foods our server told us she had forgotten to put out order in, so we had to wait another 30 mins for our food. It completely ruined our morning plans. I spoke with the hotel manager who didn’t offer us much as an apology, so I told him we were owed enough points for two free nights as an apology and he agreed and said it would be added to our Marriot account. It was never added and I’ve called him back twice to follow up with no response. I would like to speak to someone at the corporate office.

We booked this hotel because we had a family engagement party across the street. We arrived to check in and they said they overbooked us and told us that they emailed us earlier to inform us of the change. Never received an email and was sent to another hotel farther from our venue. Very disappointed.
