The hotel was hip, fun and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed with three kids under 10 and the room felt comfortable. The staff was friendly and we loved that the parking garage allows you to take your car in and out without additional charges. Great location too.

Close to MANY restaurants and offices. Friendliest staff of any hotel I've stayed out. Very accommodating.

The hotel is fine, the rooms are in good shape, but, they are not huge. The same goes for the bathroom, nice but not overly spacious.

Really accommodating staff, room was clean and comfortable, gym was well equipped, good location and good price. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. We got the parking package, the garage was attached to the hotel so that was very handy!

Enjoyed the room as it was well appointed and great beds. Stayed there because of the Ruth's Chris restaurant = we wanted to see the new location.

As is numerously mentioned in Reviews on Orbitz, and others, the rooms have rather thin walls and excellent sound penetration between rooms as well as from the hallway. We stayed on the 19th floor. The room to the right of us hosted a family of three, with a young child. There is a connector door between our room and the adjacent room, for cases of two rooms booked simultaneously. The twin set of doors between the rooms has a gap between the door bottom and the floor of approx 0.5 of an inch allowing for nearly perfect sound penetration between the two rooms. One of the two doors has a door sweep, that is intended to help with insulation, but is rather poorly installed and does not reach from the door bottom to the floor threshold, leaving a gap. The front door to the room has a large gap at the bottom of the door 0.75 of an inch or so and smaller around the perimeter of the door. As a result, as soon as the family next door checked-in, I could hear almost all the noise generated by the child horse-playing and banging-around of the furniture. As I was watching a film later in the evening in my room (around 10:30PM), I recieved a call from the front desk, stating that my TV volume was too high and the family next door was disturbed by it. For the record, the volume on my TV was set at a reasonable volume, but I turned it lower anyway, as a courtesy. The following morning,I could hear lots of hallway noise,as guests were entering/departing, opening/shutting their doors.

The room is clean. The staff is welcome and patient .

My reservation was for a "Room with a view" however we were given a room with only a view of closed off swimming pool and a office building. Yes the hotel updated few of its furnitures and fixtures, to make it seem like a new hotel, but it needs to update the more important and practical things. Their doors kept slamming and the walls were so thin, so we heard a door slam every few minutes.

Hotel is very well kept, clean and maintained. Staff was polite and helpful this is a very nice place to stay.

Room was small. Bathroom was also small. But we enjoyed our stay Staff was great

Stayed one night . Had all that is needed. Clean, nice, although hotels should offer free parking when staying and utilizing their facilities.

We really liked it. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated, staff was nice, the room was clean and big, had all of the items needed. Small pool on a roof, in between buildings. No actual "view" from the room, because it is located in the heart of the city.

Hotel staff was welcoming. Room service was awful. Sheets & pillow cases had stains on them.

Nice hotel. Good value for the money. Friendly and accomodating staff. Clean and comfortable room. Terrific location. Close to shopping, restaurants, museums. Easy walk to historic sites. I would definitely return to this hotel next time I am in the area.

We stayed here when my friend ran the Broad St. 10 Miler. The hotel was centrally located in a great area. It was easy to navigate to other parts of the city from here. The rooms were very modern and the staff was super friendly. Great stay!

Hotel holds a large deposit on your room which is annoying. $44/day parking and $50/day for "incidentals". I work hard for my money and prefer to keep it. Parking..fine. Incidentals?? Bed very uncomfortable. Shower had hair stuck to tile walls. For the nightly price is was ok. Next time I will pay a little more...

It was very convenient. I think it was missing a nice restaurant, some sort of snack bar with some variety for vegetarian people would be nice.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were a little small but offers a some amenities. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a microwave in the room but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Very convenient to city center, no complaints, very reasonable for a heart of the city location.

I do apologize that your guestroom was not serviced on time. I wish you would have let us know so we could accomodate you accordingly and please know this is not the Sonesta standard. Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent stay at Sonesta Philadelphia. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your view. Although we are centrally located in the heart of downtown, I wish you would have let us know about your view and the noisy neighbors you had so we could accommodate you properly. It's important to us that all our guests have a quiet and pleasant stay. Please know that the entire property finished a $30 million upgrade a year and a half ago which included all guestrooms, design and furniture. Thank you again for your review and we hope you'll stay with us again the next time you're in Philadelphia as I'm confident you'll have a perfect stay! - Jordan C.
