The staff was very friendly and helpful. EXCEPT that they would not allow an early check in. I had requested that prior to our arrival because schedule for the event we were attending had changed. I was told that if rooms were cleaned earlier that we would be allowed into our room sooner. That did not happen. Apparently no one was allowed into their rooms prior to 3 PM, causing delays and forcing us to attend our event without appropriate time to get ready.
Property was clean and the staff were friendly. They have a good breakfast in the morning as well. I would stay here again.
The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and it was conveniently located. If I ever come to Philly, I'll stay again.
bed is not clean, found long hair in bed. they hardly change the sheets.
The hotel was close to the Convention center , Reading Terminal Market , and China town. There were some homeless people laying around outside on the sidewalks but they didn't bother me or anyone else walking by them The room and bathroom was clean, however, there was some paint peeling off from the walls and ceilings. In my opinion, It just need a refresh coat of paint. I just wish there was restaurant available at the hotel.
I would stay there again 😉
Professional and friendly staff!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We booked two rooms - one for my family of 4 and one for my parents. Positives: Clean both in rooms and main hotel, responsive and friendly staff, reasonable valet costs given the area, food within walking distance, free hot breakfast, comfortable beds, good AC Negatives: Very busy at check-in. Two people were checking people in, but I stood in line for over 20 minutes (my own check-in process only took like 2 minutes, but the people in front of me took ages). An additional staff member would have been helpful. You could hear motorcycles showing off on the side streets both nights we were there when we were going to bed. The breakfast area was very crowded and food needed restocking at times. A bigger area would have been nice. The ice machines were out of order on almost every floor. My parents complained that the maids didn't put trash bags in both their cans or leave as many towels as they took.
It was special and very comfortable
This property was advertised as having a pool, which means A LOT to two small kids when traveling. Alas, the pool was removed years ago and Oribitz has not updated its listing. Two sad kids.
Shower tub was cracked and peeling - water was getting in between paint and causing bubbling. There were mosquitos and ants in the room. My daughters feet were so dirty from walking around the room they were black.
Nice place, neighborhood leaves something to be desired
Overall nice property in the middle of the city (so not quiet; just not property’s fsult). Very easy walk to Convention Center, Chinatown, Market St shopping, Franklin Institute, Museum District. Staff are friendly and helpful; dining staff parade through every morning during breakfast to thank patrons (never saw that before!); makes guests feel valued. Breakfast is pretty good. Elevators had problems or weren’t working the entire weekend, though. Real bummer cause there’s no stairs, even for the fit or those on lower floors.
Bar is too small
The staff was great easy check in. Nice room would recommend
