Great Location, easy walk to Center City attractions, the room was super clean and comfortable.

We arrived at 2:31 and they said we couldn't check in because it was not 3. We waited in the bar area. At 3, 10 people jumped in line to check in. We didn't get to the front of the line until 3:30. That's terrible customer service. What could possibly have happened between 2:31 and 3 that made check-in possible? Nothing. It would've been available at 2:30. The layout of the room was absurd, also. The TV was to the far left of the bed. So you had to lay on your side with one person sitting up sideways behind the other for 2 people to view it. The lotion bottles had brown stains on them.

Very expensive hotel..everything cost including breakfast... No

For the price, the hotel is fantastic. The only drawback is the location ... not the best block in Philly, that's for sure. The homeless / vagrant traffic along with hodgepodge of businesses on the block make for a not-so-good impression of Philly when you step out the front door (or if you're "lucky" enough to have a front facing window, you get to see it all before you even leave your room). This is in no way a reflection of the hotel, or the quality of the stay I had, it's just an unfortunate blight of the center city location. Hopefully the problem will be addressed by the city sooner, rather than later.

This is a pricey hotel. We arrived prior to 3 pm and room was not ready. We had to wait in line to check in. There was a wedding stay in at hotel apparently no rooms were ready lobby very crowded. We went sight seeing came back and again had to wait in line to get a key for our room. We went to a concert that night when we came back we wanted to order room service - no one answered the phone. Went to front desk - because there was no way to call front desk - they placed the order. Menus said item we ordered $8 bill came $32 dollars for 2- we will be questioning this before we leave.

Nice hotel in a good location. Watch your credit card for extra charges. I just called for a breakdown and when given it still doesn’t add up to what was charged.

I had a great stay at this property! I was welcomed at curb by the staff and the check in was absolutely a pleasure. The room was excellent and a great size with a king size bed. The bathroom was larger than most luxury hotels. The one draw back was the size of the window. I like lots of light. It's a great location and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent also offering french specialties. It was a great value. I used the fitness center. It was well appointed but on the small side.

Lovely hotel. I slept like a rock in the wonderful fluffy bed. The standing shower worked well, which is important to me, as I have lots of hair. The hotel has a great design and friendly staff. I wished they provided affordable parking, but there are plenty of garages nearby to choose from.

Had an amazing time, perfect location to see so many sites that Philly has to offer

Great city center location, walking distance to everything, valet parking, nice staff. Older building, but clean and well maintained. I’d stay here again.

King room is pretty small, but hotel location makes up for it.

Check in was flawless. Front desk agent - I think her name was Heather was quite pleasant and helpful. Don’t let her get away. Room decor was nice - nothing to write home about. Bed and pillows were quite awful. The bed spread may have been incorrectly placed as it was too small for the king bed. Would have been perfect for a queen. We enjoyed reasonablely priced cocktails a at the bar. Passion fruit drink special was extremely tasty! After returning from dinner was craving something sweet. Called room service for the Apple Tart Tatain. We added vanilla ice cream. Wow what a disappointment.........We received a very poor generic apple tart. Not even a close rendition of the french delicacy. The item sent to us was to say the least horrible and really left a poor impression of the hotel. Even the ice cream was poor quality. Would have never had this type of experience at a Four Seasons or Ritz.

We had to wait for room to be ready for more than an hour, our room was extremely small and too cold since the heat was not on. It was a very cold day. The next day my husband called valet to have our car ready at 11 am. They said that they will have to walk us to the car because the street was closed due to a parade, and just to walk down and they will do that. So thinking there was no wait for our car we had breakfast which was not great, service was too slow. Coffee kept running out without being replaced soon. When we were ready to leave they put our names and valet number down and said we have to wait 30 minutes. We waited over an hour and had to walk in the freezing cold. Two blocks to get our car and waited for it another 15 minutes. They still charged for valet service

Nice hotel.. staff were friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable. Midnight room service menu was a little limited. But it was a perfect location in the heart of the city.

Dear K, Thank you for joining us. We apologize for the wait time to check-in but sometimes early arrivals are hard to accomodate, especially during the holiday season. We hope you are willing to return in the near future to allow us to exceed your expectations.
