Great location and within the vicinity of many great eateries.

This was possibly the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life! Elevator did not work, which I did not find out until I had checked in. They placed me on the 8th floor! Fantastic! The room was dirty, hair and dirt everywhere! The building look like it needed renovations in the 1980s! Carpet ripped up, water spots on the walls. Not what was pictured in the photos on line. Check in was rough. There was a ten dollar parking fee, which they tried to extract in cash - very sketchy!! Just skip this hotel - save the money, stress, and possible infections!

Elevators were broken, place was filthy! No. I'm sure I paid much more than others. Breakfast was okay.

This hotel is extremely dangerous. There's no elevators, the carpets are all cut up, the outlets are a fire hazard, there were prostitutes in the lobby, and the stairs are full of idrug needles . The pictures online are not real. If you care about your safety, do not stay here.

Elevators not working. Hallways musty and stale smelling. Room had no towels, had to request them. Room's toilet tank had a plumbing issue and was continually churning water, so I turned the water intake off when not in use. Location convenient to sports stadia.

We booked the Penrose hotel after having our flight cancelled. I chose it because it had an airport shuttle and breakfast and at $87 was the cheapest. When we called for the shuttle we were placed on hold for 30 minutes until someone finally answered the hotel phone. She was very discourteous, but eventually gave us the number for the shuttle driver. When we arrived at the hotel the desk person was on the phone, she continued her conversation sitting at the desk in front of us. When we finally got our room on the 5th floor she said the elevators were broken so we hauled what luggage we had up 5 flights of s dirty inner staircase. I also had trouble getting the shower water to be anything but boiling. I will never go here again.

DO NOT stay here unless you absolutely have to. It is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are disgusting with paint chips falling on the floor. Holes in the carpet and god knows what else. I did not take my socks off the whole time and then threw them away. What the call a continental breakfast is orange juice, old coffee and some stale muffin. It seems like the turnover rate for employees was high. The one night we stayed there 3 different people said they just started withing the past two weeks. The counter staff is atrocious, It took about 1/2 hour to check in, for no reason other than laziness. The elevator does NOT work. Apparently from reading reviews on Yelp and other sites it has not worked for sometime. They gave us a room on the fifth floor which does not sound bad, but the 5th floor is actually the 7th with the way the building laid out. Luckily we had no luggage as we stayed for the night to attend a concert. After we walked the stairs up, the keys did not work. we had to go back down and have them 'reset'. Then walk back up. Later that evening when we came back from show around 1pm, walked up the stairs, again our keys did not work. So back down we went, only to be told we were not actually checked into room 511, but actually room 504 or 503. They said they had come up earlier that evening after giving other ppl that room and they saw our bags there. So, lets say not very safe. we did not have much that anyone would steal.

Nice staff. Property is just old and the evlevator and key machine werent working so had to wait for someone to come open room door.

Positive: Close to the stadiums and other public transportation to view go to places such as South Street and Spruce Harbor Park Negative: Neglectful staff, non-operative elevator (in a 13 story building), bed bugs, blown power outlets, one working light in the entire room, a king bed that was the size of a twin, lack of towels and other essentials, a toilet in your room that doesn't flush or run (and on a 9 flight trek, rather inconvenient and annoying), a staff that did not care to address your concerns or issues ..... Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a place that I am staying and I'm not typically one to complain.

Staff was the best part.Others wise it needs upgrading. Also they need to fix the elevator.

No working elevators. Holes in wall. Electrical outlets not working. Thermostat hanging from wall. Bed liens do not seem clean.

The shower handle wasnt screwed on so the shower didnt work. The hallways and stairs were very unclean. Hair was on the towels before use.

I went to check in and i was told that there wasnt any availability. My room was booked 2 nights, paid full in full and confirmed at least 3 weeks prior. I didnt know a room could be given away if paid for in advance . While there ppl had to use the stairs because elevator was out. Hotel conceled and trip conceled. One of my worst experience.
