The staff here is excellent! Always warm and welcoming and extremely accommodating. I have stayed here multiple times. It is only a 10 -15 minute walk to the convention center. It is on the back side of busy International Drive. Near tons of restaurants.
My experience at this Residence Inn was wonderful, as is the norm for my experience with just about any Residence Inn. I spent a week here in April 2018. Check-in: Fast and efficient Room: I had a studio suite with a king bed. The kitchen was well-stocked, including an oven, which may hotel full kitchens lack. The bed and pillow were plenty comfortable. My main complaints were that not all electric outlets were functioning and the A/C could get a bit loud. I found 2 outlets that did not work. I unplugged my bedside clock so I could charge my phone. This was more inconvenience than real problem as there were many electric outlets around the room that were just fine. The A/C was in a closet near the bed and vibrated and banged a bit. It wasn't that bad, but worth mentioning. Cleaning staff: The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. My room had a cute animal made from folded towels each time they came. The room was cleaned and organized well and well-stocked each time they came. Breakfast: Breakfast each day rotated among several hot options and different fruits and pastries. Each day there were also options for cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, oatmeal, and more. Evening Reception: As do most Residence Inn locations, this one had an evening reception on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Monday while I was there was a good snack, including chips, salsa, and guacamole. Tuesday an Wednesday were more full meals. The food was very good, perhaps even better than I usually have at Residence Inn locations. I believe alcohol was available, but I don't drink so I didn't check. Pool and Exercise Room: The pool was outside and it was plenty nice. The fitness room had cardio machines, dumbbells, and a bench. My overall impression was that this was a very good hotel that serves quite well as a home away from home. It's not as updated as some other locations, but that did not detract from the comfort or overall experience.
Nice hotel but they seem content to let dogs in the eating area which is not only unhygienic but can be very irritating when you get two of them barking at each other and/or running about the place uncontrolled. The outdoor jacuzzi is a nice touch - thankfully dog-free thus far.
This hotel is amazing! We have stayed here several times when my husband works in the area. I cannot give enough praise!!!!! The staff here goes above and beyond to make your stay as great as possible but they also give you plenty of privacy. The work area is wonderful for my husband since he needs to print things sometimes and the meals and breakfast are awesome (kitchen area is super clean)..The room has always been perfectly clean and well stocked for simple meal preps. The only negative is that the furnishings are getting dated and the rooms need a few new spruce up color touches but the beds are super comfortable. The pool area chairs are great but the cushions also need some updates. Pool towels are small. I would recommend this hotel over and over and over. Super convenient to so many wonderful places you can walk - works wonderful for me when my husband has the car while working.
Stayed two nights in the Residence Inn during the PGA show. Check in staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite which was very comfortable. Room was clean. The hotel provided complimentary breakfast each day along with a complimentary happy hour in the evenings. The hotel is walking distance from Pointe Orlando (location where bars and restaurants are.) I would definitely recommend staying here while visiting the Orlando Convention Center.
Stayed one night over the weekend at this hotel, while doing a few local activities, and turned it into a “weekend staycation”. Ample parking and the lobby area/public spaces are all very nice and the breakfast area was on par with the size of many other ones I have experienced at this brand. Upon check-in, the staff behind the desk were nice and friendly. But one thing did stand out as they recognized me as a Gold Reward Member, which is nice, but they were checking in other people and giving them all “welcome bags”. Now it could be that maybe the other two people in front of me that checked in and got these bags were Platinum level, but it was not mentioned. So it seemed if you were a Rewards Member you didn’t get a welcome bag, find that kinda odd. Room itself was fine, furniture was up to date and the living room area of the suite was of ample size with kitchen space very clean and orderly as well. Bedroom was a bit smaller actually as was the bathroom, but the room was stocked as I always request and the bed itself was very comfortable. Breakfast was normal for this brand, decent variety of foods and the staff working that morning were friendly. Overall a fine experience, I would return if the price was right and other brands were not already booked or priced to high in that area. Close to Convention Center as well for business travelers that like this brand over a more traditional hotel room
Comfortable, clean, affordable rate room close to the busy events of International Drive. Rooms were large, beds were comfortable and staff was very helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay again.
We booked a two bedroom suites during the Thanksgiving week. The first night that we stay in , my son already found a bed bug on his bed. The hotel was old although they renovated and change some furniture after we stay here a couple years ago. The location was good. A lot of restaurant and Orlando Eye(future wheel) close to hotel. The staff are very helpful for all the department. The price are reasonable.
There for 6 nights. Nice staff free coffee and breakfast. Close to all theme parks. Free dinner and drinks Mon-Wed. What more can you ask for when you have young children who can't last all day in a theme park.
We had a nice stay here. Nothing spectacular but everything was as it should be. Room was clean, breakfast was good and staff was friendly. I would stay here again. It is nicely located close to Disney and Universal parks. There is also a grocery store just a few minutes down the street.
