Check in was quick. Front desk staff nice. Hotel (outside of room) needed some attention as far as garbage in the stairwells. Location is great. Rooms are big with lots of amenities within room. Could’ve used more towels. AC worked great, water was hot. Parking is extra, even though it says it’s included.
Property was really close to restaurants, activities and nightlife. Was mainly there for Disney and MegaCon, so it was a huge plus that it was close to everything.
When two guests in front of you are asking for a refund and refuse to check in because of the condition of the rooms when they walked in, one should take the hint. I didn’t and I walked into a suite with piled dirty dishes, beds without covers, and towels all over the floors. We finally got a room that was serviced in the inside but had a huge bag of dirty laundry leaning next to the door. There is an obvious and inexcusable lack of proper housekeeping and communication with the front desk. It really felt gross to stay there. Never again.
I have stayed in Residence Inns before this by far is the worst run down one open to the public. The cabinets are broken, the walls and windows have algae all over and the interior is so beat up and run down. The only decent things was the front desk staff and the lobby area for breakfast

Rooms are some of the best of any hotel we’ve been to so far. My recommend this hotel for that, but parking sucks. Definitely not a lot of space to park and had to use adjoining hotel parking.

upon arrival I was nicely greeted and check in was fast and easy. I assumed staying at a Marriott Hotel at 169/night (though a Residence Inn) I was in for a good experience. As we took the elevator to our room it was apparent this Hotel needed some work. The elevator had clear tape holding down the tiles so they would not flip out. Carpets were older but it is what it is. We got to the room and it seemed fine. I decided to take a shower and noticed stupid stuff like the toilet paper was dollar store quality ( most likely because of the septic system) and the soap was cheaper then cheap. I had not seen soap bars like this since I was a kid in the early 70's vacationing with my parents in the late 60's and early 70's. Assembly line type soap! Shower was okay but grouting around the bathroom and shower was showing its age. The pullout bed was disturbingly uncomfortable for my 12 year old daughter who can sleep through a Florida hurricane. She got no sleep. My bed was comfortable though the sheets and comforter are not tucked in so by morning sheets and comforter are all over the place. Lastly, the A/C system is horrible. It is loud and the room seems to range in temperature from 65-75 when set on 70. Sweating then cold---all night! Finally, the buffet breakfast is not edible. The Canadian bacon is not good-the potatoes are not cooked and it was just a bad breakfast experience compared to Embassy Suites morning buffet breakfasts. In conclusion a 169/night hotel should do better
