Very private and quiet room and overall hotel. Excellent pool area. Dogs friendly.

I was a bit concerned when I read recent reviews of the Melia, regarding the construction that was apparently going on, however, when I stayed for 8 days/nights starting on October 26, 2022, the construction seemed to be complete/over. I have visited the Melia pool many times in the past, as a former resident of Celebration, but having moved away, this was my first official visit as a true guest. The new Wilson restaurant and outside bar were absolutely gorgeous. At night, the staff lit candles and twinkle lights and it looked absolutely magical! The pool was also as I remembered it - unique and beautiful! Like others have said in the reviews, some updating and repairing might need to be done in the rooms, but other than being a bit sparse in decor, the rooms were large and lovely overall. The best part is that the staff were genuinely friendly, kind and eager to please. My son and I had an overall wonderful stay at the Melia Celebration and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on future visits!

Great expirience here, rooms were clean, excellent staff specially Carlos and Ambar in the front desk , loved how quiet it was but in a very centric location for all the attractions, lots of good food close by too. Coming back again will definetely reccomend🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Unfortunately when we received our room key we had checked into our room and a few minutes later another couple literally opened our room door and walked right in, they had double booked the room and would it just own up to it. Eventually we had a room change after running around for a few minutes. We had no access to any food as they were hosting an event so we had to order out. They were in the middle of some renovations so it was a mess everywhere.

The staff was great and very accommodating but I was surprised to see this hotel rated a 4 star hotel with the rooms looking the way they do. Not only is the decor outdated but the furniture is FALLING apart. The dresser was pretty much unusable as multiple drawers were unable to be opened due to them being broke . The nightstands also were broken. For what they charge a night I am surprised they have not updated their facility at all. The lobby was dirty and run down. The food at the restaurant was good and their pool area is nice.

My husband and I booked a room at the Meliá for our honeymoon and couldn't have been more impressed! When we arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. We even got to upgrade our room to a full suite for a very minimal fee. The room was absolutely immaculate, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. My husband and I will definitely be going back there! Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!

The pool was fun and even though there were renovations happening the hotel offered plenty of activities for guests to enjoy

Broken bathroom sink, broken coffee pot, and staff was not clear that breakfast was an additional fee. Also was told by one staff member it was one price and then another staff member said it was a different price.

Nice and cozy hotel, close to everything we wanted.

Convenient location. Overall property was nice. Resort fee was expensive but did not really have the "resort" feel. Gym is not on site. Most of the staff were great but there were a few that were not friendly. We had to request hand towels and wash cloths multiple times. In 5 day stay we received hand towels twice and had wash cloths only one day. They did not have decaf coffee to serve and the server working the coffee station was very unfriendly and did not know how to make coffee. At times it seemed like some of the staff was just trying to figure out how to do their jobs; like they didn't really know what they were doing.

Nice location, beautiful pool and friendly people.

The rooms were spacious and I loved have two balconies. Within 10 minutes of the Disney parks and down the street are lots of choices for food and some non Disney fun!

The hotel was being somewhat remodeled but overall was ok considering that we’re going through the pandemic. The rooms were ok but served the purpose I needed while I was there.
