Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs™ Area

4.0 out of 5.0

This hotel is not the standard you are expecting as a Hilton. The room seemed outdated and showed signs of heavy use. The use of the TV and DVD recorder was cumbersome. Cleanliness ok but not Hilton standard. The price was good and reflected the quality. Staff was nice and helpful. Would compare to a Best Western.

Good place to stay while traveling to Disney, close to Disney Spring

Hotel well located near Disney Springs, excellent treatment by hotel staff. Excellent conditions and clean room. Rated A+++++

Overall nice hotel and comfortable. Loved being so close to Disney Springs. Walked there at least 2xs a day. Called prior to booking to ensure shuttle to Disney Wide World of Sports was told yes but once there no shuttle and very upset. We were there for a AAU tourney. Mgr offered no assistance. Otherwise pool and restaurants nice and all good!

The hotel is quite dated none of the outlets in either room I had 661 and 881 had an outlet that could hold my charger. When I checked into the second room I got signed up for a text message option for check in and informed them of the problem. Specifically, I had a terrible experience with the Security. This might be specific to me so take it with a grain of salt but the staff was clueless and as someone who works on situations like this I couldn't have been more disappointed. I would never stay at this hotel again and will consider this experience when considering Hilton Properties.

I really liked working with the staff here. They were super helpful and extremely friendly. I also really appreciated the grocery store at the hotel. We were able to buy breakfast there and other misc. items. The hotel is also walking distance to Disney Springs. I don't agree with paying the resort fee. I'm still not entirely sure what is included. The only thing that I would consider part of the resort fee, are the buses that took us to and from the Disney parks each day. The only issue with the buses, is that they were always late, and it took about an hour to get to and from the park. This is because they stop at all the Disney Springs hotels and all the Disney parks. We ended up taking Lyft because we didn't want to wait an hour for the bus each day. The rooms are clean, but old and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The pool was also dirty and there were beach towels everywhere. I expect more from Hilton. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Old and dated. After you pass the updated lobby its all downhill. How this one keeps its hilton name is a mystery. Its just bad from the old carpet well warn snagged and stained to the old fixtures and chiped and repainted doors and trims. We were in 2 different rooms equally as bad and we looked around the other rooms that freinds had all diferent type rooms and all crappy. Not a bad lobby and a nice pool and a great location but rooms were terrible rotten walls bad repairs.

We loved our room. It was very comfortable. Great view of Disney Springs and convenient to all sorts of things

The hilton name carries a certain expectation, unfortunately, this hilton falls short. It was clean. The small amenities in the room were lacking (no complimentary water, no drinking glasses, 1 coffee, no microwave, half empty bottles of shampoo and conditioner). The bed made a loud bang whenever I sat on the edge. The fridge barely cooled my drinks. As far as being a resort, again it falls short. Not sure why I had to pay a huge resort fee when I felt there wasn't much in the way of "resort" activities/amenities/bonuses. There was a benihanas which was nice. However the hotel restaurants, room service, and bars, though serving identical food and drinks, had very different pricing. The 20% room service surcharge (which I didn't see listed anywhere) was a pleasant surprise... Finally, the real negative was a phone call I made to the hotel when I wanted to call my room. The agent at the front desk was very condescending and rude with me trying to make me feel as though I was an idiot when I asked which hilton I had called to make sure I had my hilton (there are 3-4 in the area). He had no common sense and argued with me for asking if it was hilton Disney Springs as that isn't the proper name but it is located across the street from Disney Springs (mind you on the website that is how it is listed). All in all I probably would stay elsewhere because of the experience. The friendly staff (mostly) and free drink vouchers just weren't enough to keep me coming back.

I told front desk that my daughter was sick they send me to a room with the wrong keys then front wanted to change room finally I was given room and air conditioner was broken it took them 45 minutes to send someone. I had called earlier and requested rollaway bed it was not in the room. And when I went to the shower the shower head was placed outward let us just say the bathroom was drench and when picking up the water towels were black never again.

Promised pool experience was closed upon arrival. They are under construction and none mentioned this huge inconvenience. Had we know they were not working we would have book a different hotel! Worst experience using Orbitz & Hilton

Quick check in, from a very pleasant staff. Bar in lobby was comfortable with good "finger food" ,room was clean quiet & comfortable

The hotel was located in close proximity to shops, restaurants and theme parks. Check in was quick and valet service was excellent, The in room dining service was prompt, well priced, and the portions were good.

I stayed with my mom and siblings. The room was clean, items were replenished, the service was generally great. The only issue we had was waiting 20+ minutes for the bellman to bring our luggage. We ended up going down to get it ourselves because we needed to settle down for the night. There were two pools and a kiddy pool, and one of the pools was heated, so we were able to hang out in it at all times of day. The kids loved it. The pool bar was super slow and didn't bring out food to us, but the food was delicious when it finally came. The gym is small, small, but you can still get a good workout. It was clean and well-maintained and looked out at the pool. There is a 24-hour store in the hotel so we were able to get snacks and food items, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, the price for the items in the store are highly inflated. $5.00 for a bowl of ramen is just ridiculous. However, it helped for late night cravings. We enjoyed eating at the Benihana's in the hotel. Delicious food with some dinner entertainment. The kids loved it. There were other restaurants that we noticed too but didn't get to try this time, so we will next time. We loved using the shuttles to get to the Disney parks. They were usually crowded and we had to stand, but it ran every 30 minutes or so and were pretty timely. The hotel is also close to Disney Springs, which is nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, would high recommend it, and would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our vacation with my daughter and niece. This was our 2ND stay at the Hilton. Really appreciated the complimentary Starbucks Coffee and bottled water. Next visit to Disney, I'll be staying here again.

Comfortable, pleasant, clean except Libby bathroom needs more close supervision for cleanliness.

Pretty cool pretty cool pretty cool pretty cool pretty cool

In need of an UPDATE!!! Great location everything was fine but not what I've come to expect from Hilton

We were at Red Lion earlier in the week, and wanted to extend our stay. We didn't want to extend it there, since we are Hilton Honors members we decided to book with Hilton and it really made the rest of our trip great! Free DVD rentals and complimentary drinks. Nice pool and work out area. Would definitely come back.

Clean rooms with a great location to attractions. Warm and helpful staff with a good choice of amenities and restaurants to choose from.
