I got the run around when addressing the check in date ( my error ) however Disney told me to talk to Orbitz and visa versa .. back and forth. and while I asked what would be the total price, in the end the $19.00 overnight parking fee was.. never.. mentioned. this irked me . like it would you John Parinello

I really enjoyed staying at French Quarter. It is a smaller resort, so everything you need is relatively close by. Not a far walk from any of the buildings to the pool or restaraunt. It was VERY clean.

I got to the hotel very late at night (~1:00 am). The staff at the time were pleasant and helpful. I got checked in and headed for my room with my bag in tow. The room was a long distance from the front desk and entrances were out of doors. When I reached my room, the door would not open with the device I had been given. The walk back was very long and I didn't want to have to do that again. Using my cell phone, I rang the front desk and they asked some questions, then sent someone out to help me. It took several minutes for them to arrive and they were able to let me in. Keep in mind I was alone, outside in a fairly remote place, at 1:00 in the morning. When I got up later, I went to the concierge and they fixed my wrist band so that the problem was corrected. There was nothing offered to compensate for the difficulty and stress. The room was very comfortable with one exception. The flooring left a scuzz layer on my bare feet every time I walked around so the cleanliness of the floor was poor. I did appreciate the free airport and park shuttles quite a lot.

The staff were great. Especially great at check in. The rooms however were not that clean. The housekeeping every day left some garbage that should've been thrown and one night I found an empty cleaning bottle on the floor.

Excellent customer service. Rooms are comfortable. Food is good; they cater to folks with food allergies.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were a bit needy and had several requests from housekeeping and the front desk and all were meet without issue. Also, the room requests I had entered through the Disney site were all met (corner room, near transportation.) The room was a bit worn out. While we were there, they started to renovate one building, so I imagine the others will follow suit. A welcome renovation--I hope it doesn't raise the price too much! The grounds are very pretty. My son enjoyed the playground. Food court was good, not a ton of healthy options, but we made do. Pool is nice. You can walk down to Riverside and use their pool, which is larger. They also have a better gift shop. Overall, it is a great choice. We were happy with our stay and would return.

Checked in and since it was a short visit, we wanted to be on our way to Disney springs quickly. Headed to the boat but he said he wasn’t leaving for another 40 minutes so we went to the shuttle and sat there for 35 minutes. No shuttle. Then it was almost 440, so we went back to the boats, but now he said maybe they’d go at 5, because there had been some storms. Okay, back to the shuttle bus. Waited one hour longer! Everyone waiting for a Disney springs bus was livid. Headed to the lobby to speak to manager, Michael. I told him my whole time was being wasted and I was upset and regretted staying there. He said I could leave and have a full refund. I was shocked and embarrassed and felt like I was being told to leave. Not that happy Disney feeling! Of course we left. So disappointed!! Still in shock.

Don't clean our room all day and when we came back at 530 two men were in our room and told us the housekeeper saw a bug so they were inspecting one tried to say room had been cleaned but other one told us nothing had been gone when he was sent to inspect it no one offered us another room my husband said we were not going back in the room bug or no bug do they moved us we had to wait for another room but no one apologized

I loved staying at this resort! I’ve stayed at Disney many times and this resort is now one of my favorites. It’s easy to get around and just has such a wonderful feel. Like you’re in a really clean French quarter Food court was pretty good with selections like shrimp and grits and beignets. Easy boat ride to Disney springs

Great experience even through hurricane Irma. They were great

Loved everything about my stay and look forward to coming back

Good location. Pool theme just enough for the kids. Good bus transportation to the parks and boat to Disney Springs. Food court was tasty. It's a smaller resort which we prefer.

The theming of this resort actually works! The outside motel door style that Disney uses for their moderate and most value properties really cheapen the look but not with this resort. It's small and quaint feeling, and actually charming! I've visited most of the properties and this ranks as one of my favorites! We will absolutely stay again. The rooms could use a light refresh, but my understanding is the resort is due for one soon. With that this property should have no issues whatsoever!

The resort itself is smaller than the other resorts, which is nice because you have much less ground to walk. Also there is one bus stop there, so once all the people at the stop are on the bus for the dedicated theme park, it leaves and goes directly there. The rooms were nice and large, especially compared to the value resorts. We actually walked to the Port Orleans Riverside and then took the boat back to the French Quarter. Our biggest issue though was the toddler splash area. It was designed more for kids 6-10 then it was under 40". It just keeps dumping water on you everywhere which was really annoying. When it dumped the water it could knock a lot of kids down. Also it was slippery all around it, we call kept slipping.

Great price for a great resorT! Booking through Orbitz really helped us save!

Only stayed two nights but the hotel rooms were fine, used space well even with a smaller room. Did not use much of the facilities but the smaller size hotel is nice compared to some of the other much larger hotels in the area.
