Loved everything about my stay and look forward to coming back

Good location. Pool theme just enough for the kids. Good bus transportation to the parks and boat to Disney Springs. Food court was tasty. It's a smaller resort which we prefer.

The theming of this resort actually works! The outside motel door style that Disney uses for their moderate and most value properties really cheapen the look but not with this resort. It's small and quaint feeling, and actually charming! I've visited most of the properties and this ranks as one of my favorites! We will absolutely stay again. The rooms could use a light refresh, but my understanding is the resort is due for one soon. With that this property should have no issues whatsoever!

The resort itself is smaller than the other resorts, which is nice because you have much less ground to walk. Also there is one bus stop there, so once all the people at the stop are on the bus for the dedicated theme park, it leaves and goes directly there. The rooms were nice and large, especially compared to the value resorts. We actually walked to the Port Orleans Riverside and then took the boat back to the French Quarter. Our biggest issue though was the toddler splash area. It was designed more for kids 6-10 then it was under 40". It just keeps dumping water on you everywhere which was really annoying. When it dumped the water it could knock a lot of kids down. Also it was slippery all around it, we call kept slipping.

Great price for a great resorT! Booking through Orbitz really helped us save!

Only stayed two nights but the hotel rooms were fine, used space well even with a smaller room. Did not use much of the facilities but the smaller size hotel is nice compared to some of the other much larger hotels in the area.

The hotel and surroundings were pleasant and clean. What was missing was a nice sit down restaurant at this location. Also confusing was that there were two Port Orleans, French Quarter and Riverside. Disney transportation was confusing to go from one to the other. Spend 1.5 hours getting from Riverside to French Quarters trying to connect to the correct bus. Received conflicting information from several bus drivers until we got the correct information.

We had a great stay, the kids did not want to leave this hotel!

Port Orleans French Quarter was fantastic! The room was clean, comfortable, and located close to everything. We loved taking the boat to Disney Springs and being able to walk next door to Port Orleans Riverside. The paths and walkways were quiet, shaded, and secluded, which was a nice break from the packed parks during Thanksgiving week! We would definitely stay again!!

My husband and I had a few unexpected days off and had not a clue on what to do nor where to go. I went on the Orbitz' web sight and just searched for package deals that seemed reasonable for a quick get away without costing a month's wage. I found great deals in the Orlando area and decided that if we were going, we'd go & stay at a Disney Hotel. I booked the trip on a Thursday for the following Thursday and then called Disney and gave them my reservation number and flight information. Low and behold, we did not have to even rent a car. Disney was gracious enough to pick us up on the Disney Express at the airport & took us to our hotel. We checked in and then caught a boat right outside our hotel and headed to Disney Springs, and had a wonderful dinner. For the entire long weekend we used Disney transportation and explored the other Disney Hotels and many restaurants that are in those hotels and Disney Springs. You don't have to go into the parks if you do not like them because there is plenty of other things to do and see for adults. What a weekend!

Initially I was referred to the wrong check in Port Orleans entrance and was told I was really close but would need to head two blocks and seven buildings away to check into the French Quarter. The Hotel was beautiful and the associates on the grounds were more than helpful, helping me find my way around. The location was excellent and near everything. If you have a car rental you can head to the dinning and shopping 2 to 3 miles away to save some money. The location could not be better with the buses taking you anywhere you would like to go within the Disney resort.

Truly enjoyed this resort....it's the perfect size and has all of the amenities that we were looking for.

We had a wonderful time. Everyone went out of their way to be very helpful. Close to the parks. The shuttles were great.

Excellent resort, great pool, and bar. Easy access to all Disney parks!

We stayed the week of Easter, when crowds are crazy at the parks, but the French Quarter was the perfect escape. The resort did not feel crowded at all. Bus transportation was very quick and we hardly ever waited. The pool was amazing for the kids. I think they enjoyed it more than the parks! Just a small walk around the resort. Room was very clean, we would definitely come back here to stay again!

We always try to stay at French quarter when visiting Disney world. We love the closeness of the resort to the theme parks and the size of the resort. Only downside is a small food court but Riverside is a short walk.

We traveled with our 2 grandsons (ages 10 & 13) & had a wonderful visit to Disney. The armbands offered our grandsons a feeling of independence and we felt perfectly safe with them on the property. Service from friendly staff was superb. Heated swimming pool was a plus with attentive life guards. Food was adequate and suited grandsons. Could have had more healthy choices for adults.

Very pretty resort. Everything you would expect from moderate resort. Pool/hot tub needs a little care and updates but overall a nice stay.

I cannot say enough good about this place, the buses were constantly flowing thru so if you missed one you didnt have to wait long for another. The staff was wonderful and friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nice, maybe the only thing was the bathroom was a bit small. But that was the only thing. I loved the boat launch in the back, it was a beautiful trip to Disney Springs to shop and have dinner(please dont go to Rainforest Cafe) and the guide on the boat was very informative and nice. I took my mom in a wheelchair to Riverside since there is a nice walkway by the river to it. Very clean and nice!

Great stay at Port Orleans French Quarter! We were there for a quick holiday trip before Christmas and we loved the resort. The decorations were great and the décor of the resort were right on with the theme. The staff that we encountered were wonderful and friendly. Our kids loved that it is a smaller resort especially because you can take the boat to Disney Springs. The campfire and movie were a hit with the kids. This was our second stay here and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
