Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Read a few reviews that the wait for busses was horrible...did not have one problem with bussing. Stayed in Casitas bldg 4, no problem with current construction, close to bus and basically convenient to all areas of resort. Quite honestly, getting around resort is very easy and did not seem as huge as imagined or suggested in various reviews or videos of resort.

our first and second night (we stayed for a week) is disappointing. when we entered the room it doesn't have that fresh smell. we thought maybe the room was vacant for awhile. following day the smell is still there and we found out that it was the shower curtain. shower curtain was old and start to tear up. we called the help desk and immediately they changed it and the smell was gone. also the tub was not draining, i called again and the plumber came and he removed pile of hair off the tub drainage! room is huge for 4 people (we got the corner room). the pool is amazing! Food is good too! try the buffolo wings and tacos by the pool side! and also housekeeping is on top of changing the towels..

We had coacroches in our room two of our three days. Choose another resort. Manager tried to make it up to us with some free stuff.

I enjoyed the hotel except for the loud renovation noises that awakened me every morning. The room I stayed in was updated and very clean. The restaurants were good with reasonable prices. Hotel staff was pleasant but bell hop service failed to pick me up on my last day and drive me to the front to catch the airport shuttle. I ended taking the very, long walk to the front of the resort and was drenched in sweat upon arrival. I spoke with a manager, I believed named Marian, who was very regretful for my inconvenience and offered me a pass to a Disney park. Since I would not be back in Orlando anytime soon, she let me pick a few gifts from the Disney gift shop.

Loved the hotel location and facilities. However the cleaniness of the rooms was terrible. Upon arrival we found very long dark hairs in the shower, tub, floor and on the towels. The rink stopped was sitting in the sink and debris was in the sink drain. After spending a day at Fisbet, we came back to find the trash removed from the trash cans and in the table. Very odd. There was trash dropped on floor and not picked up, and hair again all over our clean linens. Very disappointed with cleanliness of room, but the hotel itself it awesome. We did notify Disney with the condition of the room. They were extremely apologetic. When you pay Disney prices, you expect Disney quality. Probably won't stay here until they update rooms. I still love Disney though.

If you can get this at the right price, it is a fine hotel to stay at on Disney property. The rooms seem a little larger than Disney's value resorts, so a little extra money might go a long way if you value space. As always, you can probably find a much better value for your money off property - but for convenience and the Disney experience, this is a good option. It wasn't overly crowded during our stay. The mediocre food in the cafeteria is overpriced, but again, this is Disney so that's to be expected. Other than that, our room was fine (it was one of the renovated ones). Parking was a breeze and transportation to the parks is convenient.

The hotel is in the middle of a remodel but you would never know. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Noiseybwork going on -even tho requested a quiet room, housekeeping left dirty dishes and no coffee or stir stick refills, knocking on door at 8 am to clean. Front desk hard to get ahold of. Room safe broken-no luggage holder so had to put suitcases on floor. Very mediocre for Disney resort

Good food it's Disney they always make sure you have a magical experience

We took our kids to Disney World for the very first time and we all loved everything about our vacation and the resort. The kids loved the pools and especially the slide. Our room was comfortable and clean. I needed some extra bedding changed due to an over tired child and an accident and the housekeeping staff was very pleasant dealing with my issues.

I had read some of the reviews that were not all that great recently and was apprehensive that the hotel was not up to Disney standards, however, the place was much better than was described and everything was perfect. I only have praise for the resort. The pools were clean and comfortable and my grandchildren had a blast on the slide. I would stay here again.

Beautiful scenery, convenient bus stops located throughout the property.

Hotel staff was excellent! We could not get the room cooler but was definately okay. Mattresses at most Disney resorts need replacing, these did also. Pool was excellent! Facilities are very clean.

nice hotel. Need a convenience store 24 hrs. Excellent team. I'm very happy with hotel election.

theres nothing magical about it, small room, small bath, small tv, vending/ice machine didnt work, not worth 300$/ night at all, only good thing was main pool, overall a so so experience we hqd more fun at best western pervious day at 1/3rd cost.

Overall, nice experience. Nothing extravagant. About as nice an experience as we had at one of the DVCs. Liked being able to catch the bus to the various Disney Parks.

Great place to stay! Lots to do. Close to all the Disney parks.

Unfortunately, Casitas Bldg. 5, where we stayed, is in desperate need of complete refurbishment. Paint peeling everywhere both in and outside rooms, bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a jet engine which shook the room. Poor attempts to repair room numbers that fell off of room doors. I wouldn't expect to see this type of issue at any Disney property, since they have such a sparkling reputation of impeccable attention to detail. If we didn't have a car with us, it would have been really difficult to get from one part of the resort to another as it is really spread out. Food just ok, I have to say that Universal's hotel food is just a notch above, both in taste, quality, and choice of offerings. I wish I could've given Coronado Springs a better review since I was really looking forward to our stay, but it was truly a disappointment.

The hotel was nice enough. Close to the parks but stayed at non-Disney resorts that offered twice as much for less money. Could hear everything that was going on outside of the room, along with people walking on the second floor corridor.
