Hotel experience was terrible. Took over an hour waiting in line to check in (theme park experience starts early). They require a $250 resort deposit listed no where during the booking process. After this you have to wait in a second line for a parking pass, during which they pressure sell the time share "tour." So after 1-1/2 hrs of waiting in line to check in we take the 3 mile drive to our building, where no physician person is actually staying and the people across the hall have decided to use a significant amount of hall way space as a trash dump. It wreaks of fried excrement of bottom dwellers all through the hallway. The room was large, but nothing special. It was dark and it kind of stank. Bland bedding, hard pillows, thin blankets. Very much the cheap hotel feel.

The resort is beautiful however I was disappointed with the fees associated with the lazy river, rock climbing wall, etc. I was under the impression everything was included minus food, beverages, etc. also, I was disappointed to find that the hotel did not provide a crib to us until muiltple requests, phones call were made. It took over two hours. After a long day of travel it was a very poor first impression.

Orange Lake Resort is phenomenal. There are so many amenities and activities that go on. Very close to Disney, about a $9 Uber ride away. The property is nice!!! Just be aware they will try to sell you a time share, which we bought out of impulse, no regrets yet. Only downfall is the place is too huge, you gotta wait for shuttles to get from one place to another. Sometimes you wait 10-20 minutes for a shuttle and find out its full, and have to wait for the next one. Also they don't accept cash for anything, gift shops, restaurants or basically anything only cards. Not so bad if I hadn't pulled out so much cash before arriving as a way to control my spending. Anyway overall very pleased with my stay. 4.5/5

Very nice lots to do. Several pools entertainment children's activities enjoyed by all

On vaca late Jan. With 10yr. Old weather was a little chilly for water adventures so kinda disappointing there.seems like the idea family spot for warm weather vaca. Lots of water activities and golf galore

The place is nice, but not the business center and while there the fire alarm went off at 4 am had to get out to parking lot for like 30 minutes on the cold weather, they gave us the ok to go back in but no sorry or explanation lots of people wasn't happy.

This place could be really nice. The rooms are huge and the grounds, restaurants, and pool areas are awesome. We have a family of 6 so this worked, but there are probably other places to stay that would have been nicer for the same price. Here are the issues: The rooms are clean(ish)...it feels like they haven't been deep cleaned in a long time. They don't do daily housekeeping...you need to request a cleaning and they then charge you for it. We were there 10 days and ran out of fresh towels, toilet paper, and soap. You need to make that request when you ask for a cleaning. When we did request a cleaning we specifically asked for clean sheets, all they did was make the bed. Where our room was, it was extremely loud at all hours of the night. They have trucks and golf carts going all the time. Our building was huge and there was only one elevator working, one out of order, and a 3rd that I never saw work (service elevator maybe). It was over a mile into the resort to get to our building...not a huge deal, but there are stop signs every 100 yards it seems. The staff, with only a few exceptions were pretty rude, or otherwise indifferent. Not much in the way of greetings, did not offer any help or suggestions for anything. They will try to sell you on their vacation club and if you turn them down, you're pretty much dead to them. This place has potential, but if you're not an "owner" you get treated like a nuisance rather than a guest.

I was very disappointed to learn that there was no maid service available unless we were staying "more than 10 days". We were not informed of that in advance. Fresh towels were not provided on a daily basis. We were expected to wash and dry our towels. Again I did not learn that until the day after we checked in. To get a set of fresh towels costs $8.00. The room did not have a patio or window to open and let fresh air in. Despite the fact that there were few guests staying on our floor, we were given a room FAR away from the elevator making it very inconvenient to load and unload our luggage. Oh yes, there also were no bellmen so we had to do that ourserlves. Food was only available at poolside. It was very expensive and there were MANY mosquitoes harassing us as we ate. With the zika virus in the news these days this was a matter of concern to us.

Very nice hotel, but I do not like the charge in the mayority of activities the hotel

My little family of 4 (me, husband, 2 yr old and 6 month old) had a great time! We spent most of our time in the W. Village pool and the lazy river. Staff are available if you have questions or need something but they don't hawk over you like some resorts. We stayed in a Villa that had a king size bed, kitchenette and living room area. The space was big enough for 2 pack-n-plays to stay open with plenty of room for us to walk around, sit on the couch, etc. The pool was beyond our expectations, large, plenty of chairs, bar close by. The only reason I didn't give all 5's was because they don't make up your room when you leave each day. The bed was not made and the trash was not taken out. Everything else about the stay was great! So close to the Disney parks. We had so much fun we already booked another trip for Labor Day weekend.

The facility was nice. The customer service was not the best.

We arrived at 7pm for check in after driving 12 hours. Were charged extra fees at check in. Arrived to our villa and it was disgusting. We called to inform housekeeping who claimed they would clean immediately. We left for the grocery store and returned nearly two hours later, the room had still not been cleaned; this was just before 10pm. It took them an hour to offer to get us a new room and get us our keys. It was now 11pm. We then took our things to our new villa, we were told someone would come help us move out things. They showed up 45 minutes after we had already moved it ourselves. Our new villa was clean, but then we discovered roaches in every room and and he kitchen. They sprayed one time for the pests, but did not follow up as we were told they would. Overall, poor experience and we gave them ample opportunity to correct their mistakes and we were only further disappointed. We did receive play passes for compensation, but compared to the issues and the monetary cost of the stay, it was not even close to enough. We will not be returning.

Took the family to Orlando for a family reunion. Location was very good, close to Walt Disney World. Resort had much to offer visitors. Really a nice experience. Only issue we had was the resort's wifi was not working. But rooms, pool, restaurant, etc. were very nice.

The hotel was very elegant and romantic. I enjoyed every bit of my stay. I'd recommend to anyone

The hotel rooms smelled really bad we woke up all of us very itchy. There must of been bedbugs. Not happy at all overall experience. The staff was pushy on making you get a time share.

We had a great stay at Orange Lake. I would have requested to stay in the newer part. The staff was great and very accommodating. Anytime we needed something (i.e. Cork screw, potatoe masher, etc) they brought it to us. We did the timeshare presentation to get passes to the waterpark and other activities there. It was worth but I would not buy them out right.

Love the atmosphere! Close to lots of attractions but very laid back and relaxing.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom villa in river 22000 building. the room was great, our family golfed the par 3 course and while it was a little below average in terms of greens and fairways it was perfect for our teen agers. we went to the main village and enjoyed kayaking and hanging around the pool. our favorite part was having out by the lazy river and enjoying all the beautiful plants and flowers, truly spectacular!! for a family of 5 with teen agers this place was perfect, close to everything you need in Orlando.

This hotel was fine for what it was... A place to sleep... But be prepared to pay over the top prices for anything you do here. From a cup of coffee to any of the amenities. Also be prepared to get multiple calls per day starting at 8am regarding time share sales. No housekeeping... Prepare to clean your own room take out your own trash etc.
