Room was basic but nice and clean. There is food and onsight entertainment (swimming), food, and luggage storage. Check in is very strict we arrived at 9am checked and could not get to room until 410pm. Was able to use pools during wait, but only certain amount of hours can be spent in a pool with small children. Otherwise nice resort and good service to universal parks.

We stayed in a Family Suite, and while the room was spacious and functional, it could use a bit of updating. One big plus was the early park admission, which we definitely took advantage of on our first day at Epic Universal—that was a nice perk to have. We visited during what’s considered the off-peak season, but it was still pretty crowded. The trams filled up quickly, so be prepared for some waiting, especially during peak times. The cafeteria was very convenient, especially after a long day at the park when we just wanted something quick and easy to eat at night. One downside was check-in—both Friday and Sunday had extremely long lines, which was a bit frustrating after traveling. Overall, a convenient stay with some helpful amenities and the price was affordable for the 4 nights, but a few areas (room updates and check-in efficiency) could be improved.

Great shrimp tacos and chicken tenders, family enjoyed their quesadillas too. Stayed in Americana building 6 with Volcano Bay view, beautiful and clean. Facilities gates were hard to open with hotel key, family could not get several gates open throughout stay which was frustrating. Others also having issues. Walking path to city walk convenient. Housekeeping came every other day to just make beds and give more towels and coffee. Didn’t get more wash cloths second time they came. Poolside great, lots of towels too out there and chairs.

elevator by our area down 3 out of 4 nights ...room not ready at 4 p.m had car full of us trying to check in and make a 6 p.m dinner show.very poor checkin...unaware there was a parking fee for each night.no good food on property and everything is a very long walk to get to.had no idea what i was getting into...i would not come back as there are so many hotels to stay at .only thing i was happy with was the room itself
