Good the food , the rooms are clean, thepool is amazing..

This isn’t fancy and the rooms, especially the bedding, are pretty uncomfortable. But, the pool is great and there is a nice bar by the pool. There are shuttles to Universal and there is a hidden walkway that goes right there. Overall, it’s good for the money and I would stay here again!

Great hotel & experience a touch of old. Even Zest soap & V05 shampoo. Pools were great & never waited for shuttle service to City Walk & Parks Walked to Volcano Bay. Would definitely recommend the Family suite

Staff was so friendly! Great food! Comfortable stay. Very clean. Pool area was awesome. Loved the cafeteria area. Kids loved loved loved it!!! Wonderful experience. Only negatives were 2 young girls in the game room weren't very helpful or friendly and there was hair in our shower on arrival. It was still very clean otherwise. Would def recommend!

Loved this hotel!! Very clean! Loved the lazy river, pools, and water slide. Only thing bad I can say is that the food is somewhat expensive and without a lot of healthy options.

Hotel was very large so a lot of walking, foods was extremely expensive with not a lot of selection. The shuttle was handy if you were going to Universal, other than that no transportation any where without getting a cab. Wish we would have stayed off property and rented a car.

The resort was perfect for our needs. Every staff member is happy and polite. Our only complaint was the way the family suite was laid out. There were no fans in the shower room or the toilet room. The lights were very bright and we woke up every time someone got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. The towels were very small. I am a size 8 and they barely covered me which made it difficult to get dressed around my grown children. Other than that, it was perfect! We would stay there again next time we visit.

loved pools, room was clean and staffs were great. lazy pool was in cleaning so we couldn't use it though.

Great place and we loved the overall theme. Pools and bars were great and the free transportation to the Universal parks was a HUGE benefit! Thank you for making out 30th anniversary WONDERFUL!

Great time at Cabana Bay. While the standard room is on the smallish side everything else was awesome. Staff was top notch, loved the food court and pools especially the lazy river. Being right next door to Volcano Bay and being allowed to enter one hour early give us time in the park to ride almost everything with no wait times. The bus service to Universal Studios/island of Adventures was always very quick. We never waited on a bus either going or coming from the parks. This was in comparison to just coming from staying onsite at Disney where we endured Long waits for buses going and coming to their parks. I will definitely stay again and again at Cabana Bay. P. S. If you have kids, don't forget to bring a floaty for the lazy river or you can buy one at the hotel.

Everything was great. Congratulatines all the staff

Fun theme and economical way to get in early to the park or spend a day lying by the pool. The cafeteria style food options was perfect for a quick breakfast but expect to pay hotel inflated prices.

The hotel is bright and airy and made for a relaxing stay. The pools were great and volcano bay was very close by. The bus arrived about every 5 minutes to the parks. If discounted fast pass was offered i would stay here over the deluxe hotels.

Wonderful time. Hotel has everything available, no need to go out. Theme was very interesting and exciting. Already planning next years stay. Fun for all ages. Universal parks just 5 minutes away.

Very convenient to the parks (even walking). Nice pools. We had the volcano bay view which was fun.

Very convenient location if you're planning to visit Universal Studios. Basic but very nice rooms, quiet. Great discounts on Universal Studios' tickets. Very friendly stuff.

My daughter and I enjoyed the late 50's early 60's resort hotel theme. It reminded me of some of the places I stayed as a kid. It was cute that they added sand to the pool area, hence, Beach Resort even though there's no real beach for 50 miles or so. The shuttle from the hotel to City Walk was extremely convenient and ran pretty consistently. Overall, it was quite a positive experience. The issues we had were as follows: They had what appeared to be old fashioned bellman to greet you when you pulled up. Unfortunately, they didn't take our luggage and he pointed to an area full of cars and said try to park there. It was so congested with cars that we just went driving the area when we couldn't find anywhere to park. When we came back, we were fortunate to find a place near the front so we could check in. What the bellman failed to tell us was there were other areas to park, not just where he pointed. Once inside, it took about 45 minutes of being on line to check in. Once we got to the representative, he was extremely helpful and got us checked in in under 5 minutes. We still had to go find a luggage carrier to get our belongings to the room. The room was adequate, 2 queen beds, a mini fridge and excellent water pressure in the shower. We went to the pool/lazy river to unwind. It took 50 minutes to purchase a float for the lazy river. They had 1 man taking the money and blowing up the floats. This was unacceptable. They should have had more people to help out.

Great resort so close to the Universal parks. Beds were comfy. Pool was clean and big enough for lots of guests and the lazy river delightful.

We liked everything about our hotel. It was kid friendly. Only thing was one of my children's souvenir dinosaurs went missing from our room. We reported it to hotel staff 3 times, they said they would put it in their lost and found system 3 times. We never got a call back, assuming they never found it. Not a good experience for our children

Staff are all nice and helpful . Several types food are available with most entrees around $10 or more. After eating on site four times, we concluded we were satisfied, but some food offerings were much better than others. The hotel grounds are big with more than 1,000 guest rooms. Our standard double room was comfortable and clean. Parking is about $12 a day. Free express passes for the parks are not included as they are at the more costly Universal hotels. However, guests can take the free shuttle from the hotel to the parks and get in at 8 am, an hour earlier than those not staying at a Universal hotel.
