Great location, older building, good value

I stayed for several days here. I really enjoyed the location, walking distance to a large variety of chain restaurants and drug stores and entertainment venues. The staff were all courteous. The hotel is made up of multiple buildings and there was some construction going on during my stay but I didn’t hear any noise from it thankfully. The campus is well kept and if it were warmer I would have checked out the outdoor pool. The building my room was in and my room were old. For the price I paid, it’s not like I can ask for so much better. It was in ok condition but could certainly use an upgrade in the air unit and the entrance door having a gap in the bottom to the outdoors. They allow pets for a fee and if you have a dog there is plenty of space to walk them around the hotel. It’s well lit at night.

It took me more than 45 minutes to check in -- and I was the only person at the service desk. The young woman who was helping me put me in the wrong reservation and couldn't figure out what to do. Subsequently my checking account was billed TWICE for t he room, with the wrong charge finally being taken down after two calls on my behalf. Unprofessional.
