The bathrooms were real outdated... Our queen size bed was 2 twin out together and had a bar in the middle.. Very soar backs in the am... Everything else was great

The overall experience during the stay was stellar. The location was perfect for the purpose, the facility was clean and the room was great. That said, I asked the front desk for help with finding the coffee shop and got nothing but attitude as if I was a moron and they couldnt be bothered (there was no one waiting to be helped behind me). Then at checkout, they have a resort fee with taxes tied to the resort fee per day that we had to pay and parking is 22/day self parking or 29/day for valet. We were there for an event where self parking was supposed to be 15/day and they fought with us saying they couldnt honor it. so in addition to our original fees of room per night with taxes included on the room, we then ended up paying almost 100.00 for resort fees, extra taxes, and parking. The stay was not really worth it when Disney is right down the street and is cheaper, kid friendly and lack hidden, unnecessary fees. I have now stayed at all Gaylords (minus the one in Colorado since it has yet to open) and this location was by far my worst experience. Dont have hidden fees, I hate being nickel and dimed

not worth the $$---average hotel rooms---the rest of the hotel is very nice---the rooms are nothing special

I was impressed with my overall experience from Valet parking to the friendly staff.. There was plenty things to do at the hotel especially for the holiday season. They had from eating breakfast with Charlie Brown to enjoying the nightly light show. Beds was very comfortable. 1st impression of the room was the how spacious and cleaniness.

My husband and I went down to Orlando for our first anniversary. Orbitz was offering what seemed like a good deal at the Gaylord. Boy were we wrong. This hotel cares more about its convention goers than its other guests. Despite the large size of the hotel and its myriad of convention rooms, the management held a club-like party for a convention group in the atrium (this is the middle of the hotel that is below all of the rooms). The music was ridiculously loud and went until 10pm on a Monday night. We couldn't hear our TV, let alone have a conversation or romantic evening with loud dance and rap music in the background. Worse yet, when we called the front desk to see when it would end, they couldn't have been ruder. They said 10pm and that we just needed to deal with it. There was also a loud event that wrapped up at 9pm on Saturday, which seemed reasonable for a weekend. However, after Monday night's festivities we realized this is a common occurrence at the Gaylord. It is ridiculous that they disturb their guests this way. The whole reason we wanted to stay at the Gaylord was to avoid the noise and headache we thought we would experience at lower-starred hotels. Little did we know that it was the management itself we would have to deal with...

Will deathly say there again. Upgraded the room to a sweet no extra charge

We went to stay at the Gaylord Palms to avoid the approaching Hurricane Matthew heading towards Central Florida. The hotel was a nice distractions from what was going on outside. It was beautiful on the inside and the room was very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of its outdoor amenities such as the pool but we enjoyed the inside.

Very nice and amazing place deathly go back . It was about 20 minutes away from Universal Studios.

I wanted to stay at a hotel that was different from the usual, and I got it!

Experience was overall nice. Sandbar manager Nick turned around what was going to be a negative review into a positive one. I will advise that my best friend and I went off on a girls trip with our 3 year old kids. We were at the pool area on Saturday, decided to grab a couple of refreshments from the only bar at the pool area the SandBar. The first time around, we stood in front of the bar (which was not terribly busy), I had one female bartender lock eyes with me, another short bartender on the other side of Asian decent also lock eyes with both my best friend and I, and for some reason they attended everyone around us except for us. It took a nice gentleman, (15 minutes later), who was also a guest, to walk up to the bar and offer to ORDER our drinks for us since we were carrying our kids and things were getting uncomfortable. In my opinion, unacceptable service. The second instance was very similar. This time, I had no kids with me and I was by myself. I simply went back for another drink and same thing occurred. I had to sit on a table who occupied a family of 8 people to catch some attention. Finally , a young man, (did not catch his name however, he had beautiful blue eyes and is a Server, got my order, brought my drink within 4-5 minutes and I was on my way. Finally, on the third instance, we went back to HAVE LUNCH. No Service. My best friend had to ask for the Manager on duty to take an Order from us from 2 different Servers. Finally manager met us at the table.

We loved it at first. Place was beautiful, staff upon arrival and check-in were great. The issues started when we attempted to use their "consider it done" concierge service. Once we called to room service. The line rang and rang with no one answering until eventually we hung up. Then we called it again because of the noise to see if we could get some ear plugs brought up as my wife was woken and had a hard time sleeping through it. We eventually got someone on the line, who was apologetic and said that they would have someone right up to bring those. We waited up for over an hour. They never came. Needless to say, it was not a very restful night.

Want to get the most luxurious and least expensive hotel? Look no further. Instant succes.

I was not happy having to pay for 2cars when one has a handicap sticker and I was told it was to far away.

We have stayed here several times and. It is a big and beautiful hotel with waterfalls and very nice Plant and flowers. The last two times we have gotten balcony room facing the main atrium in the St Augustine building. It's a great view. My wife loves it. The only negative was twice our room key did not open the exit for the self parking. They did fix it but we had to go around to where there was an attendance to let us out.

The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Parking is expensive. Good selection of restaurants.

Had an amazing time exploring this Hotel . My family loved the baby Alligators. Fun for all ages . Room service was a real treat after a long day in the Disney parks .

My husband and I had a great trip it was nice to celebrate our 20th anniversary at this beautiful hotel.

This hotel is amazing!! Rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel itself is very entertaining because of the decor and activities. I can't wait to go back and stay there longer. Very close to attractions.

Beautiful hotel, restaurants were great we stayed at the hotel most of our stay. Would defiantly stay at this hotel again.

We took the kids for a couple of days and they loved it. The pool area is big and full of fun for the little ones. The hotel itself is beautiful and you really do not need to get out of there for anything.
