The property was old and dated. They made us pay an additional fee just to upgrade to a lesser older building but the area was still old and dated. The room smelled like mildew and when called about it they just changed the air filter which never fixed the issue. The room was not clean and had to go out a buy cleaning products and rewash the sheets. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The gym had old non functioning equipment and you can't go in there by 7am which should be 24/7 access.

We have stayed at Vacation Village about 15 times over the years. Mostly stay using our time share but this was a short trip. In the past this had been one of our favorite resorts. Not much in the way of entertainment or amenities but very spacious and super close to everything! Unfortunately the resort is starting to show its age. Our room and the hallways smelled very musty. Appliances and kitchen items are old and worn. Furniture is just ok. Couches are showing their age and just feel dirty. The humidity level in our room was horrible. Everything felt damp. It wasn’t just the weather because my son’s room was fine. Also two of our towels had brown stains on them. All that being said, I would still recommend this place. We were only there for three days this time so I didn’t even bother to report anything. But in the past they have been super accommodating and helpful if there was ever an issue.

We decided to buy an extra night here on our dime after receiving a complementary 3 day/2 night stay for enduring the grueling timeshare presentation. The room they gave us for that wasn't nearly as nice as the room we got through Expedia. The room through Expedia was considerably bigger, had a jet tub and full kitchen, updated furniture and was very cost. We loved how the units have central AC rather than wall units like every other hotel. We'll definitely be staying here more often during our Disney weekends.
