The hotel gave us an upgraded room as it was ready to occupy so we didn't have to wait hours for our assigned room. It was SO NICE of them! We loved the resort with the 2 pools and Spa amenities. Our room was amazing. Huge, and over looking a lake. The little deli had delicious sandwiches. My husband enjoyed the free golf class too.

I expected a nice hotel since I did a little research prior to booking. But once I got there just the entrance is a beautiful view and decorative with a lake and palm trees. The room was super clean and well maintained. Got the upper floor by the late and close to the pool so the view was amazing. The stuff super attentive and nice over all. Felt like home.

My fiancé and I stayed in this hotel for our anniversary weekend. If I would’ve known that this was Wyndham time sharing scheme then I would’ve not booked it. The supposed 90 minute presentation turned in to a 210 minute one which the staff does not tell you. Half of my vacation day was lost fighting off sale reps attempting to sell me something that I have no interest in buying. Then to receive your gift, two tickets to any parks, is a joke and a lie. What they don’t tell you is that you get one free, but you still have to pay for the other. I was very disappointed and will be more careful the next time I book on orbitz. Obitz should provide more information to it’s customer so that they can avoid schemes like this.

Very nice and clean place to stay. We stay here about 4 times per year.

This is my 3rd time there and although we enjoyed ourselves there are a few things that aren't as they were during our first few visits. There are plenty amenities to enjoy, however the walks are paper thin and the staff kept stacking blue tubs of dirty linen outside of my bedroom window and frequently open and closing them all while hitting up against the bedroom window which startled us several times around 7:00-8am and between 9:30-11:30p. During the day time it didn't bother me, but when I was asleep it was annoying. The one basketball was flat. Once we got a ball the court looks to not have been cleaned for some time. (Rather disappointing). Don't let those few complaints discourage you though. It's still a nice facility. I just had a bad experience this one time.

Vey nice resort!!!! wonderful location! Daughters enjoyed the pool and bar area.

Didn't really spend much time in the hotel, but the people were really nice and helped with everything needed in a timely manner. Nice surroundings and views.

Great hotel. Very accommodating. Lovely grounds as well as roomy

While the central facility was decent (pool, lounge, golf, etc) the sleeping room was very small for a suite and a bit old, worn, and very musty smell

We stayed at Star Island 15 years ago and decided to come back. Everything was fantastic from the pool to its friendly workers. Would recommend this hotel to all our friends in the future.

VERY NICE RESORT TO STAY WOULD STAY AGAIN REASONABLE

Sand hill crane just lay her eggs in the nature preserve area. Swimming pool water temperature was warm for daily swimming even for me. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Love to take short trips there to revitalize but lots to do if you want to do more

You have to pay the extra resorts fee, the room is mold smell for a whole day. The noise of AC is huge.

Great hotel overall, but you can hear people in next room as though they were sharing a room with you.

Great experience! Convenient, close to all necessities.. Restaurants close by, Walmart and fast food. Staff was very friendly and room was clean. Pool open til 11pm.

Great hotel in the perfect location. The amenities on site were fantastic, and free

Horrible this time. Small, small, small kitchen. Two burners and a microwave. No garbage disposal, no oven not really any place to wash dishes by hand. The bedroom was very small, there was only a very small closet and a very small table to eat breakfast at and it was full of brochures from the hotel. I will never stay there again.

Horrible experience checked in and reported a plumbing problem which was never addressed by hotel staff. Unit ended up flooding due to no plumbing problem that was not checked by staff after my bringing it to their attention

We thought this resort would be nicer and more updated, based upon the pictures, than it was. Strongly recommend updating the rooms, i.e. carpet, fixtures, etc. as the overall appearance of the room was from the 80s/90s timeframe. We rented a 3-bedroom (one of the rooms was a pull out bed/couch type room), 2 bath room.
