Crowne Plaza Orlando - Downtown

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This was my second stay with the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Downtown Orlando. I checked in Thursday and my room was ready and just as nice as my previous stay. The staff was amazing, always greeting me as I came and left the hotel. I was really impressed with Roberto, who assisted me with an item I left in my hotel room after realizing when I got home that it was still in the hotel room. Roberto confirmed the items were still in the room and held them personally until my cousin was able to pick them up. This saved me time and I was greatful for his follow up and follow through with everything.

I was bitten by bedbugs after sleeping at hotel. I called hotel to protect next person in room. Hotel had no response. Never would stay again.

My sister and I stayed at the Crowne for three nights. I got a break on the room price through points earned on my credit card. I'm so glad I booked the Crowne. The room was immaculate. Fresh and clean. Rooms were expertly cleaned daily. We stayed to attend a conference in downtown Orlando on Church Street. It was just minutes away. A shuttle was provided by the hotel which made the transportation issue a breeze. Everyone was congenial and accommodating.

Absolutely outstanding my stay at crowne plaza I will recommend anyone who needs a room. I will definitely come back.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Room big and clean.

Right off the highway and positioned in between two huge parking lots, this was tricky to get into and the self-parking a whopping $17, was a little annoying. All that said, the staff were polite the room was gorgeous except for one detail, and it's a big one. The room I was in faced those two huge parking lots and the highway, and also had a balcony deck without curtains, just shutters. So, 2am car alarm. Woke up. 4:30 trash pickup (BEEP BEEP BEEP)? Yep. Heard that too. The whizzing of cars across the highway was something you could eventually tune out, but I got a terrible night's sleep because of the noise outside.

We stayed here for a concert at the Amway Center. The stay was great! As long as you don't mind paying to park your car ($17 Self Park $20 Valet Park), it is worth it.

Hotel is located in downtown Orlando. Very nice. Got upgraded for free.

The hotel was very expensive and the parking should be included with the hotel stay but that was optional if we wanted to pay for it or park it somewhere else. Upsetting part was no hot tub and a very small pool.

This hotel is right by 2 major highways. The tragic noise was incredible and meant a night with little sleep. The windows and sound proofing of the building need tremendous work. If you're looking for a hotel that will give you a chance to sleep, don't stay here.

nice rooms , lounge, but construction was going on next door. Quite loud, plus next to the highway. comfortable and clean. had coffee with creamers as well!

Close and affordable. Amenities could be better no general store or continental breakfast. Good for a quick trip to citrus bowl or other.

Hotel room was great. Employees were awesome and very accomadating. The shuttle service was outstanding and drivers exceptional. Location was perfect for us. Hope to return soon. .

i have stayed here 2-3 times and it is my go to place in Orlando when I have meetings downtown or if I need to go to the Amway Arena.

The hotel was clean, the staff very accommodating. Location was great for the Russell Athletic bowl. Food was great in the restaurant. The valet service was excellent. The beds slept great.

Everything was perfect. I had absolutely no problems.

The hotel is antequated. It's near a highway overpass and adjacent to a vacant field. I didn't feel all that safe, especially in the evening. The area is dark and not well lit. Staff were pretty nice, however. Very average hotel I'd say.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. It is a 5 minute drive from downtown. The only down side was the parking fee- $15 a night per car- which for 2 cars was quite expensive.

Staff was nice. The hotel was clean and close to the convention center where we were working. It was a good choice and very comfortable.

Great value hotel. In addition the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the arena and Church St station which is most convenient for guests.
