Very nice lobby & patio area .Walking distance to Universal. Great view of Universal & City Walk at night. Spacious room

A Great place to stay and very close to where I wanted to experience fun with my son at universal studios. I love doubletree hotels and have never been disappointed by them when I stay at doubletree.

This was a nice Doubletree, large pool, firepit, you can even buy the smores kit in the deli, several food choices, comfy beds, starbucks in lobby---directly across from Universal, they say it's a 15 minute walk but there are free scheduled shuttles, which we took

Great hotel! Great hotel! Free shuttle to nearby parks! Loved our stay!

There was a little construction when we arrived but it was on the joined hotel next to the one we stayed in. We got upgraded to the Hilton Honors on the 14th floor facing Universal Studios-- great location! The room was a good size and very clean. Newly renovated. There is a convenient bar/restaurant and Starbucks located next to the elevators on the first floor. I did not spend any time at the pool. There is a Walgreens nearby which was nice, we picked up breakfast food so we could easily eat and walk over to the parks in the morning. It was nice to not have to rely on a shuttle or pay for a cab. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to City Walk.

Check in was fast. Room was clean! Staff very friendly and helpful with any questions I had!

During our stay, the hotel was under massive construction. Parking is not included in their rate so you will tack a $20 fee on each night. The hotel staff was not friendly and made our check-in after a long day at Universal a tediously long process. Then, the TV did not work in our room. Definitely not a hotel I would recommend again!

Booked this hotel cause of it's proximity to Universal Orlando and it was nice, the Lobby & room. I wish they would figure out a different approach when it comes to the parking fee. My family has annual passes and I think I will try a different hotel next time, which will be very soon, just because of this additional fee.

We stayed from Thursday onto Sunday morning, and from start to finish, the entire experience there was great. Prompt, friendly service, and the staff all went above and beyond to make sure our stay there was as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is beautiful, close to attractions and nearby amenities. The ONLY complaints I have are that the shower handles weren't easy to figure out (plus they were a little broken), and the room didn't have a microwave. We found work-arounds however, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orlando.

Very nice and comfortable stay, enjoyed quiet time at pool early day

They charge for parking your car if you do it yourself!!!

Very close to all the theme parks with a convenient free shuttle. But also in the middle of all the construction in the area. Great pool, clean facilities. Beds are EXTRA firm, which for me personally was uncomfortable and hurt my back. Friendly staff, helpful. Wish the rooms had a microwave. Couple of restaurants in the hotel, but very expensive. Overall, decent but not great.

Everything was perfect except one thing. The check in time is at four and the room wasn't ready yet. I had to ask them twice. Check out time was at 1100 so I figured that it will be ready. Overall I had a great experience.

The location was great the room was very nice and clean bed you are super comfortable and nice mix of pillows soft and firm .There was a bus available to take you to Universal Studios but the schedule was terrible the last bus left at 10:55 am . But in the evening you HAD to leave by 8pm or be stranded or have to pay for a cab I did not like having to be pigeonholed we could not stay and enjoy city walk at all!! We were already paying an additional $17 daily to park when all the other area hotels were free!!

Was a nice hotel to stay in. The bathroom could use some renovation. Room was comfortable. The staff was great. Just know even though it is advertised as 'at The Entrance to Universal, if you are planning to walk its about 2 miles from hotel to entrance.

This hotel was great, literally a 10 minute walk away from the Universal Parks. Close to the highway and very easy to get to. Room was spacious and very clean. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN THE ROOMS HAD A FUNNY SMELL BUT THE STAFF OVERALL WERE SUPER FRIENDLY.

The bathroom smelled like dirty wet towels and the shower curtain was old and torn. The rug had stains and bedding didn't seem fresh.

I thought everything was very nice and convenient I liked the the restaurants and the concierge service was helpful.
