After a very long flight, my kids and I were super excited to check in at the hotel we took an Uber from MCO to the property which was only about a 20 minute drive. Upon arrival we were not greeted, front desk lady seemed moody and not very helpful, I asked for upgrades available since I’m a Hilton’s Honor Member and without checking she immediately said “there’s none” I had to ask questions about all the amenities including breakfast hours, shuttle transportation and such because she wouldn’t tell me anything and I overheard the agent next to her who was checking in another guest explaining everything about the hotel to the guest. She was super friendly had a great smile great attitude and I’m sure she made that guest feel very welcomed. I wish I could have been checked in by her. Once I got to my room first thing I noticed was the carpet by the entry door, it was dirty and worn out, room had a muggy smell and the AC was noisy. Also bathroom tub was dirty, two towels were stained, water pressure was very low I called front desk several times and no one answered. On the other hand my little boy did enjoy the pool and breakfast staff was very friendly. This will be my first and last time staying at this Doubletree.
