Super close to the amusement parks and not a far walk from downtown Orlando. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. We also loved the pool!

This hotel was dirty. We had 2 rooms booked for business. One had to check out early due to bugs/insects in the room crawling on the nightstand and bed. The other room had hair in the bathroom and bed. It clearly isn't kept clean. Trash was in bags by the elevator for 2 days. The trash bags for the room weren't even placed in the cans - they were still folded and hanging on the cans. I would not recommend this hotel. The bar/restaurant area had knats. I'm not sure how this is allowed. I would not recommend to anyone.
No shuttle service since COVID. Get over it. Hidden $50 a night deposit required that includes parking even when you don’t have a car.

Below my standards
If you’re looking at this because it was an “unreal deal”, turn away. Apon arrival to our room, we noticed that ants were crawling on and inside of the sheets of both of our beds. I lifted up the covers and it there were more. I thought about switching rooms but I read reviews that a ton of the other rooms had the same issue. The elevators were gross and greasy and the pool wasn’t ever open when it said it was supposed to be. There was a shooting right down the road one of the nights we were there. I’ve stayed in worse so this wasn’t super horrible but I do wish I read the reviews before hand.
The room had a broken closet door know and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. When the lady that checked us in she didn’t tell us about how to use the parking garage just that it cost $26 plus tax. She treated us like trash. We didn’t get a package like everyone else that was checking in got. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I have heard great things about double tree but will not say again. Also when people make reservations for this property you should let them know they need to pay for parking there’s no hotel parking that’s free.
It was a great stay. The only Issue is that they charge 26 dollars for parking.
