great vibe. bery convenient. friemdly staff. but bathrooms need upgrade.

The proximity is amazing. Very convenient. The staff was very kind and nice Beds comfortable Pillows great Room service food is great but there is a delivery charge, service charge and then you tip. Expensive. We would return to this hotel

The hotel lobby, grounds, and hallways are amazing. The rooms are very normal. We were disappointed to find the pool was closed for a lengthy design overhaul. We were allegedly supposed to have received an email with this information but did not. Nor did the 13 people standing near us during check in. We would have made other arrangements if we had known. Staff was unsympathetic to this issue and thought the pool across the way at another resort (requires putting on clothes and tipping the driver) was suffice compensation? Access to the parks via walking paths was excellent. Everything is beautiful, delicious, and expensive but one should expect that at this reputable icon establishment within the park.

We love staying at the Hard Rock and as Florida residents, often treat visiting guests to a stay and a trip to Universal. The hotel itself is amazing, the rooms well appointed, and very clean. We love the quality and consistency and our guests ooh and aah about how great a pick we made in the hotel. However, and this ia a big however, the food in on site restaurant, The Kitchen, is not just ok, it is downright terrible, and if that weren't enough, it is incredibly overpriced. I spent $300 on a light dinner for three and breakfast buffet the next morning for food that was either seriously sub-par (wedge salad was laughable) to just ok (breakfast buffet fare was ok, total with tip for 3 was $100). Very disappointed in this critical part of our hotel stay and will rethink where we stay and how we dine for future visits. And we are preferred guests as well as UO annual pass holders. Come on, Universal, you *can* do better!

The Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando should be lauded for their outstanding job during hurricane Irma. We all felt save and well cared for and I am especially happy to see that they took all the dogs they could into the hotel to shelter. What an unexpected and great thing to see. I can't praise the hotel management enough.

2nd visit had numerous problems, the 1st time so I thought I'd give them a chance. Big mistake I will never stay there again there was a rude night manager named Kenny who 1st identify himself as brain my room was not clean twice I had to call at 6pm to get my room cleaned, one manager tried to help fix all the problems named Kaylee, just felt all employee trying to always put off working saying things c like thats, not my job or I'm not allowed to pick up you suitcase and put it in the care this hotel is not worth $$$$ for the horrible service I'll stay at the portfino next time

Loved it. I would definitely stay there again without any hesitation.

Kids had fun at the pool and park. Worst part of this whole thing is writing the stupid review . Seriously the thing or not let me go to the next step. I'm about ready just to delete the whole review.

We could walk or take the water taxi and be there in a few minutes. Hotel and pool were clean and beautiful. Great staff.

Beds are heavenly! Pillows are amazing! Staff was super upbeat and helpful. However, prefer Disney theme parks over Universal.

Stay was fine but overall the mosaic look and the pool area in general as well as the hotel in general feels outdated. I expected a higher end accommodation. I had teenagers with me and they didn't know any of the music or most of the artists (who were "sort of" featured) so I am wondering how the Hard Rock theme will play out with the next generation. The food was good in the restaurant. Housekeeping woke us up at 8:30 am.

Great location, close to the parks and the Fast Passes were worth it! We rode all of the rides the first day only waiting for less than 5 minutes for all rides...except Harry Potter! The hotel was clean, classy and vibrant! The staff was so kind and helpful. The pool looked amazing, will definitely plan an extra day next time to sit by the pool and enjoy! Water taxi was so fast and convenient! The Velvet Room served a simple breakfast with Starbucks coffee, perfect kick start for the early admission to the park. Best part was all of the music details in the décor, art and rooms!

Very good vacation, convenient for parks , express pass is included in stay which makes you wait minimal on most rides.

Had an awesome time. My wife loved it and is already planning our next trip!!!

Went for my Granddaughter's birthday, the hotel was excellent, my grandchildren and myself loved the water slide. This is our 2nd time staying at the Hard Rock, we are looking forward to next year. Highly recommend

Loved the music references and artwork. The staff was very friendly. Live poolside entertainment was very nice. The Kitchen served a great buffet. Very clean and rooms were quiet.

Super comfy beds, great staff and loved the pool! Enjoyed the easy walk to universal or the boat to islands of adventure

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, except the housekeeping left something to be desired. Our first night we returned to our room around 5pm to find it had not been touched and then when they did clean it they did not replenish the coffee supplies. Another day we found a napkin that had been sitting on the bed wrapped in the sheets when the bed was made. The location is probably better for families with kids since we were awakened on multiple occasions when families returned late from the park or were up early to go to the park. It was great to lounge by the pool and have staff catering to you and checking often to see if you needed anything. Overall, all the staff was friendly and eager to share information to help guide our stay so we would get the most out of our vacation.

everything was wonderful, the only problem I had was when cleaning staff clean rooms they should not close door behind them, door should always stay open when they are cleaning your room. How do you know what they are doing in there with the door closed? Looking through all my stuff?

The hotel was wonderful. Room service staff was friendly and always eager to help make your stay better. The closeness to the city walk and both parks is wonderful as we never had to leave the area! One thing to note, though it did not take away from the experience is that the hardrock has a security system that goes off in every room if something is triggered. It would've been nice to be made aware of this at check in, also, they could limit the repetition of the alarm or space out the announcements. This happened twice in our 4 night stay. They should re-evaluate their system and how it's utilized though it's nice to know they have one in place it might be too sensitive.
