Heard loud banging sounds all night from floors above and below. It’s close to parks but lacking compared to other universal high end properties. Stay elsewhere.
Ease of park access makes this property special.
When I was booking this trip I had a family in a badly injured and I mistakenly booked the wrong day. After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes to finally talk to someone to be told sorry your were a no show and there’s nothing we can do for you (not even a small amount of my money back. So disappointing !
For $550/night I expect a room with functioning AC, working outlets and housekeeping. Pool advertised on their website as opening at 8am, not the case. Long hold time (over 30 minutes) when attempting to request more towels or when inquiring with concierge about dining questions. In addition, express pass (which you receive when staying at universal’s premier resorts) no longer includes restaurants. Impossible to make reservations day of or prior for dinners, Hard Rock staff was unable to help. It was not communicated that there was a change to this. This resort, as well as the theme parks, were understaffed resulting in a less than pleasant experience. Best part of this resort was its close location to the parks, however I would NOT recommend staying there anytime soon.
Everything was great. Staff was extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
Pool area with the dj and rock music all day! Also loved the walking distance to the parks and early entry to Universal
The pool was nice when it was open, hot tub was great when it worked, room service took forever, gone all day only to find our room not cleaned and the hotel charged us twice for everything which was shocking ( speaking to other guests we were not the only ones) which was very frustrating considering how expensive everything was
Hotel rooms seem older. Aren’t luxurious for the price. Pool was nice, The Kitchen was delicious, and the express passes are the real reason we stayed here.
Candace was awesome at check in & got us on our way immediately.
