Not the Owners Fault -- But Be Aware
Terrible Location: The property is not on the side of the highway with the water park. The highway divide is very dangerous so you will have to drive to the park to be safe. There are security gates on both sides of the complex which means up to ten minutes just waiting in line when its backed up just to get back and forth across the street. This is a MAJOR issue and security does nothing to move people along through the gates at a faster pace. Do not rent any home without knowing the location of the property on the map.
The property was not properly cleaned. The cleaning crew must have left on break. Dirth dishes, rags and towels left around. Gum was found in multiple places in the house. Whoever rented before us had kids that chewed gum. Found it in the carpet, in drinking glasses, on the ping pong paddles, etc. Had to go to Wal-Mart to buy ping pong balls.
The X-Box power cord was missing. Called to complain - no response. Could not play x-box even though it's advertised.
Hot tub AND pool were at 104 degrees which made it impossible to swim. Called to ask to be reset - no response.
Couch in living room has serious stains. Why are people renting with stained furniture?
Pool lights don't work.
The house itself is in new condition so it's OK to stay and the price was reasonable. It was just really disappointing to see all the issues - were it just 2-3 things I would not bother writing this review. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of response from the property company when we complained. I think the owners trust people to do their job and its not easy.
If you have children and want to use the waterpark, do not rent this place. The effort to cross a busy, dangerous, highway isn't worth it.
