Facility was great. We enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer. We were really unhappy that they did not come in our room to clean and provide new towels. I understand they were scheduled to provided housekeeping service every other day but in our 7 day stay they only came in once. I called for service and no one came in to clean and provide fresh set of towels. We were really disappointed at this service .

We had 5 rooms booked and made a request to be in the same building, even after being told that we were all in the same building at check in, this wasn’t the case. Buildings are old, although refurbished they still seemed very dated except the bathrooms were slightly more modern. There was a strong detergent type smell in all rooms. Poor service in terms of towels not being changed (as per the terms of every 2 days). Appalling customer service, so defensive and unwilling to help, when I called Reception to say that some rooms hadn’t been cleaned and was told it wasn’t a full clean, this was not made clear at booking or check in. Cleaning staff were constantly gathering and chatting, which is reflective of the lack of service in the rooms. Definitely disappointing for a ‘Marriott’.

Everything was okay during our stay, however, we are still waiting for our security deposit to be repaid to us. We checked out on 12th December & it is now the 5th January. This is unfair & frustrating and is certainly a reason why we would not book again. I now have to spend time chasing this up, not happy at all!
