After coming here for the last couple of years, I’m sad to say this will probably be our last time. This was the most unhelpful the staff had ever been. I couldn’t get any replies to the text. The front desk gave me wrong information on several occasion. But the security staff was top notch! There was just something different even our beds were more worn down. There were some stains in the bunkbeds, it just seems to be going down which is disappointing because this was the first solo trip I took after losing my husband so we’ve made some memories here over the last four years. It is fun and there’s definitely something for everyone to do if you can overlook everything else.

Only thing I didn’t like was that we had to park $31+ for parking everyday we were there. Which was over $150 for 5 days, and also no free breakfast

We had another great stay at Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark by IHG. This is a place we return to every year, and it continues to be a favorite for our family. The staff truly made a difference during this visit—especially Rob, the bell captain, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While our overall experience was very positive, we did encounter an issue in our room, as we found two roaches during our stay. This was disappointing and not something we’ve experienced here before. Which was addressed, as it doesn’t reflect the otherwise great standards of the resort. Despite this, we still had a wonderful time and appreciate the excellent service from the staff. We look forward to returning again.

The staff and waterpark were amazing! The lifeguards, especially, were fantastic. The grounds were ok. I would see staff walk by trash and not pick it up and the walkways were full of debris and plants were dead. We didn’t get room service one day and had to call for more coffee and towels. Overall, great place. Would go back. Our kids loved it!

The room was clean, and bathroom too. We didn’t get to use the water park, but the park looked very nice and clean with a bunch of kiddos having fun. The food in the lobby was great, and the staff were amazing! We also stayed here since it was close to Disney, and got a free shuttle there. Overall amazing stay.

The property was very gross and dirty, didn’t see anyone cleaning or picking up trash, broken glass left for days, dirty diapers on the ground. No notice that the water park area was under construction.

WOW. How does this place stay open? The only good thing about this hotel was the ice cream. It seemed fine at first. But, things just kept going downhill.The bed sunk in horribly, giving my back no support.That's fun when you have a bad back. I asked the front desk for a comforter to maybe put in the sunken part. That never came. They did supply us with endless towels and washcloths when asked. Then we got a text saying building 11 will have no power for a few hours.Thankfully that wasn't our building. Then the next night, there was an altercation right outside our door for a few hours from 10pm past midnight. Screaming, banging on the door,the whole time. Called security 3 times. They seemed to believe the intoxicated person, who would say they were sorry and that they would leave. Yea, they didn't. There were no towels when we attempted to go swimming. The front desk can't hear anything you try to say to them because it's so loud in the lobby.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DONT STAY HERE!

The check-in experience was good. But, we stayed 5 days & the room was only cleaned once. We had to call the front desk & ask for more towels every day. The rooms were not sound proof. There were many people around our room making noise nightly. Someone was sitting in a lawn chair next to the parking lot smoking weed & the smell of what they were smoking was very strong. People were roaming around the parking lot & grounds all hours of the day & night. It felt a bit unsafe. The pool was overcrowded & if you wanted to sit in a chair close to the cabana you had to pay to sit there. The only free chairs available were by the food station & were very few. We had to call security 2 times to place new batteries in our safe as we kept getting low battery alerts. The elevator was out for a day & that was inconvenient. We put out our “do not disturb” sign on the morning we checked out & that morning housekeeping knocked on the door to ask to clean the room with the do not disturb sign on it. The restaurants were adequate but overpriced The front desk staff was very responsive to our requests. But we should not have had to call them daily. If you have a family & get a good rate on the room & don’t mind the overcrowding of the pool, lack of housekeeping, the smell of weed in the parking lot & ppl having parties around you then this is the hotel for you. The location was convenient to the convention center.

I was please with this hotel .. room being cleaned and water park and other amenities.. the only thing I didn’t like is I booked this on through hotel.com and it said water park included,when I got there I had to pay an extra $300 for water park and parking that they don’t say you have to pay for ..!!

We got to our room and it didn’t have AC, no problem. They put us in another room and it was disgusting! I shoved a needle in my foot that was in the carpet, the mirror was so dirty and we didn’t have comforters.

I booked this hotel because it is advertised as having a waterpark. HOWEVER, the water park was under refurbishment and not operating at the time of our stay (and appears that it will be that way for a while). I wish that the hotel would have let us know so that we could have made other arrangements. Additionally the work on the water park began at 8am with major power tools and what sounded like breaking or drilling through cement. So it was VERY noisy. Secondly the hotel was without power one day during our stay due to an “emergency power shut down” (we received a text message from the hotel warning us that it was going to happen) and if you were gone and had anything in the fridge it would spoil, I dont think was anything the hotel could control the power outage However, it appeared to be directly related to the work being done on the water park area. Third issue, we booked a suite style room and it had an “joining room door” to another room (we were unaware of the door at booking, and we did not know the people in the other room). They continued to smoke weed constantly and our room was filled with smoke. The only thing that the front desk said that they could do about it was to ‘send housekeeping to room and spray air fresher’. We had children with us and were going to events where we did not want our clothes and things smelling like weed. It was really frustrating. Once the work is completed hopefully it’ll be a nice hotel. I just wont stay there again.

Overall the resort was great- definitely worth it for the money. Rob is a great help. The kids had a blast. They loved the waterpark, arcade, and movie theater. I really can't complain. The only complaint I had is the pool got kind of gross when there were a ton of people. But that was a Saturday and it was PACKED. That and transportation is a bit complicated to the parks unless you are doing Epcot or magic kingdom. But honestly for the money if you are on a budget- it's worth it!

We didn’t know the water park was under construction and every morning including the weekend , which we were told there would be no construction on sat.Sunday was loud . The pool always had leaves dirt even chip bags in it no one cleaning after it . We took out our garbage everyday from the room and left it at the door as it wasn’t serviced all the time . The hotel had a movie theater kids run around unsupervised being disrespectful, there should be a supervision or attendant at the door to ashore everyone is being respectful

we loved it here very big place but all staff are on a different page some follow the rules some don’t most staff are very nice and big kiddie area is closed wit bucket but doesn’t say on website

The access to the pool was great but was limited due to the area under construction. The room setup was great but not the best on smell. It had a combination of cleaning bleach and a smell from the bathroom sorta like sewer backup. The staff was very friendly.

Nice place but the second Waterpark was still under construction ( can't blame them for that) The only real negative thing I can think of was the lack of working ice machines. I had to go 2 floors down and to the adjacent building.
