This was a time share presentation offer. The hotel itself was very nice. Restaurant was very slow and the food was probably a 6/7 rating. The staff was wonderful and our room was very nice but the balcony door handle was broken and it was annoying to get it to close. My time share presentation was my very first, and to be honest, the first salesperson was very nice but when he realized I wasn't invested he kept talking to my friend (which is sales personified). Then his boss came over and again tried to get me signed up. When I stated I was single and did vacation alone and could save the 168.00 a month instead he replied, if you can't afford this monthly payment then you certainly can't afford to be here this weekend. As a professional in the financial industry for 29 years, his comment was most insulting and uncalled for. Then he stated, so when you agreed to this , you already knew you weren't signing up? I stated I wasn't sure but probably not and he rolled his eyes at me. Then the Corporate guy comes over and tries again. They missed the mark when I restated more than 30 times I am single and don't see a use for this now but maybe in the future. That was the ONLY true negative to this stay.
Overall a hotel interested in their bottom dollar, not their customer's satisfaction. Overall left the hotel with no desire to return, team at the hotel needs to understand that their guests are the number one priority, not their smartphones.
The construction behind the pool was obnoxious at 8 am. The bartender was anything but helpful or pleasant when asked for recommendations about restaurants or suggestions on alcohol. I will chose a different hotel during my next business trip.
This hotel was the best ever from the staff to the rooms to the valet parking. The staff was so helpful and very friendly- each time we left they asked did we need directions anywhere. I also received calls asking how did we like our room, which is not always when you stay in a hotel. Nice touch! I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again!!!
Nice hotel that is right across the street from convention center and close to Universal Studios. To our surprise, we had a complimentary upgrade from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite. It was only myself, husband and daughter, but it was nice that she wasn't sleeping on a fold out couch and in her own room. The restaurant, Fiorella's was very good with good service also. We only had dinner there twice, not breakfast. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We walked to convention center and took a $6.00 Uber ride to Universal Studios. We would definitely stay there again!
I loved the Las Palmeras. First time I have stayed there. Staff was among the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. The food and beverage team was great and the front desk team greeted me like I was an old friend. I loved my coupons for two cups of Starbucks in the morning--very cool. I would definitely stay here again. As a matter of fact, I have already booked it for my next business trip to Orlando. I was very impressed. Next I'll need to try some of their other properties (SeaWorld, Tuscany, etc.) Cheers and thanks for making this a great trip for me.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The beds and pillows were comfortable the bedding was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it had a beautiful and well furnished kitchen. The place has great furniture throughout and was clean. It is a short drive to all the parks. Would definitely recommend this to friends. It has all the comforts of home in a condo or apartment type setting.
Great experience it was a perfect 3 days the staff was amazing the hotel was spotless I enjoyed it. I'm at family and friends there and it made our Orlando stay that much more nice nicer great location to all the parks
Up all night by loud banging- staff apologized, but noise continued. This hotel was a poor reflection on the Hilton Grand Vacation Resorts- the pool was small and disappointing. To compound the problem, you had to suffer through the smell of diesel fuel and the noise of construction. Did the staff not feel the need to inform guests of this detail when booking? To offset this huge disappointment, they offered shuttles to their other resorts during the day. Hey Hilton: how about a discount in my room rate!
I stayed this hotel to attend the conference that took place at nearby hotel. The hotel was recently renovated, so everything was new paint and fresh. Since this is "vacation" hotel, there were lots of vacationers, but they did not bother business travelers, actually the hotel was very quiet. Hotel staffs are great and friendly. The room is nice size, not too big not too small. But I though bathroom could be improved during the renovation. There is a shower area in the bathroom. Despite the bathroom itself is roomy, the shower area is small and drain is not designed well so water goes to bathroom floor. Since bathroom huge, the shower area could have more space. Not many dining options around the hotel unless you go to Universal studios. The price i paid for the one night was just $89, but there is $25 resort fee and $18 parking fee, which you won't know till you arrive the hotel. The resort fee is for accessing the pool and the gym, free wifi, and two coffees or two water bottles a day. Okay, these days other hotels provide free wifi and sometimes provide fresh coffee in the morning. But still the price is reasonable compare to hotels around the convention center.
