Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center

We basically used the hotel as a convenient spot between Disney and Universal. The hotel had a nice pool and restaurants and a 24 hour cafe/ deli, which came in handy. Be aware thathat the hotel charges a 2 $20 amenities fee for shuttle buses to Disney and use of the fitness center, neither of which we used. We had a "suite" which was basically a bedroom and sitting area which was nice to have after we put the kids to bed. Overall, it was a nice hotel conveniently located near both attractions we were interested in.

The hotel was gorgeous and we got a great teammate for two nights. It was an easy drive to Disney world and universal studios and not more than 15 minutes (driving) from tons of restaurants.

I was there for a conference so it was convenient

Everything was good except for the bill they slid under my door the last night letting me know of the $25 per night "resort fee". Would have appreciated that this be charged upfront for me to be fully aware of the total pricing of staying here.

Nice hotel facilities, clean with a friendly staff. Resort a bit far from the airport, so taxi fare is steep ($60+) and available shuttles may give you a tour of Orlando (arriving took 1 hour 30 minutes airport to hotel, departing took 25 minutes hotel to airport) before you arrive. Wifi was really slow to non-responding throughout the resort for my IPad, Samsung S6+, and Windows 7 computer. Food quality ranged from good (lasagne served during conference lunch) to miserable (Chicken Marsala in Tropicale restaurant was a small whole chicken leg and thigh, connected, on a bed of tasteless rice with Marsala sauce that tasted primarily of ketchup); unfortunate, since there are no other restaurants within walking distance save the ones at the resort.

Just what our family needed with a new baby. Kitchen, two rooms and a living room. Home away from home. Danielle from Long Island was very helpful in getting us checked in.

The room was spatious with a separate seating area near the entrance to the room, although we only used the bed and bath room areas. The pool area was beautiful with a hot tub and plenty of towels. Per Orbitz the cost of room was 25% off for the "off season" in Orlando in mid January, but at check in we were hit with a $22 per day mandatory "resort fee" in order to get WIFI, use of shuttles to Disney, and room services. Everything in that hotel was expensive including $20 per person breakfast buffet and $4 cup of coffee, but the hotel was very nice. Comfortable bed. Good food. Staff was helpful. We even had an old shower head replaced during the day after we reported it to the front desk. Just expensive for our rural American tastes! When one is in a vacation Mecca like Orlando, you're not in the hotel room very much anyway, so cheaper digs make more sense so more of your money can go to the attractions (of which there are many!).

Hotel exterior, lobby and grounds are beautiful. Staff even starting from the valet are polite and friendly. Hotel allowed early check in because of my families early flight arrival. Only hiccup was thermostat was not calibrated appropriately for our comfort. Engineering did repair the next day and rest of stay was comfortable. Free parking and standard internet. A wide array of restaurants and shopping are all within a 2 mile radius. Disney was less than 15 mins away. Convention center is less than 20 mins away. Family loved the pool.

Very good experience. However it needs to have more for the kids to do. Swimming and a daily movie is not enough entertainment especially knowing that this is most likely to be a family vacation.

It was a great experience, the rooms where clean, friendly staff, wish there were more vegetarian dining options!

No sink in bathroom. Sink in hallway. Would be congested for more than 1 guest. On arrival had to take luggage a distance to get to room. No assistance available.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Corrected any issues promptly. Very convenient with it being a few miles from all theme parks. Definitely will stay there again and recommend it

This is the worst hotel. Rooms are small and damp. Staff are rude. Hallways are ALWAYS full of garbage, wet towel, and dirty dishes. Bathroom was leaking. There is no security check; anyone from the street can walk in and use their facility. Pool does not have lifeguard! On top of all these, pool side was under hard hat construction! Imagine having your children in a crowded pool, with no lifguard, at a construction site!! I complained many time, and management cared less. I give this hotel 0 stars.

Very comfortable room, beautiful pool, with great places to eat. Great location at 5 minutes from Disney.

We came to relax and we certainly did. Beautiful hotel with all the necessary accommodations.

Everything was great. The only negative is I think the food at all the restaurants was very expensive.

The location was great, minutes away from Disney World and restaurants.

Wonderful experience, nice staff, good environment, nice location.

Our stay was very nice. The suites were spacious and the facilities were nice. The water had a strange smell and taste to it, but that was about the only negative aspect of our experience. Close to theme parks.

Only downside was at 8:45am housekeeping knocks on door while opening the door saying housekeeping with no time to answer before they enter and they are not quiet!
