FOR THE PRICE .. The room we were in, was neglected and dingy. We found socks and clutter on the floor at the head of the bed. The air conditioner was old and very noisy. There weren't many amenities .. no fridge or microwave .. there was a coffee pot .. we did not use it. Only one facecloth in the bathroom, some towels had holes in them. Their continental breakfast was coffee/tea, juice and 2 pieces of toast. Toilet barely worked. Not much control over the hot and cold water in the shower.

Rating sums it all! Stayed there for 3 nights 4 days with out Television Complained to the front desks and 3 staffers, ECT...

staff were very good, easy access to trolley service. Hotel is in dire need of maintenance. I am a Plant Operations Director for living facilities and found general conditions unsatisfactory (i.e. large hole in casing above my room's bed from an apparent water leak). Much work needs to be done, otherwise nice stay.

First let me say the hotel front desk staff is super. Everyone I dealt with was very nice. But the room was outdated and grungy and even came with a bloody band aid in the bathroom waste basket. Not a great value.

Be prepared that you will pay for a nice room, but ultimately be sent to another building if you have a pet. The rooms are subpar and not worth the regular room charge, plus the additional $25 fee for the pet. Now I'm use to being put up in lousy accommodations because I have a pet. I just wish I didn't have to pay the price of a normal nice room. Recommend lowering fee to the pet building.

Helpful and friendly staff. Javier is real nice guy, smart, personable, organized, and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Wake up call was performed at 6am sharp.

We chose this hotel because it was near the location where we had an appointment. We were greeted warmly, quickly checked in, and ate both dinner and breakfast there. The food was quite good, and the young man who was our waiter was genuinely helpful and even reminded us that we had paid in advance for breakfast. Although there was only fruit for gluetin-free diets, I was able to order off the menu the best yoghurt, with fruit, nuts, and honey. And the coffee was free! We had a variety of tv channels in the room and a lovely balcony, though that made it a little noisy at night as it overlooked the street. The room was clean. It did have a damp smell, the same as any hotel room, or rooms in some of my former houses, that are inevitable with a window a/c unit. Chateaubleau Hotel was a good choice for us.

Room was a nice size. Bathroom was disgusting. Soon as walked in bathroom I noticed hair all over from someone else that was there before me. Hair inside tub, sink, toilet. Tub was dirty. Place needs remodeling. Doors have cracks and chipped paint. Only had one wash cloth in bathroom when got in so had to request more. Host had to take some out of another hotel room to give to me. One Vending machine there but is outside of the hotel smh. The beautiful fountain in the pictures is across the street from the hotel not apart of the hotel grounds.

It was disgusting it smelled and I will never ask Orbitz to book me a hotel ever again I had to move to three different rooms to finally feel comfortable to sleep ..

Hotel was what we expected for the value, old and in need of renovations. Unfortunately the rooms were not what we expected. We found hair on the shower walls and some critters (roach) exploring the room water damage on ceiling. When we explained to the front desk about our findings, we were asked why it took us a few hours to report this. I explained we didn't notice it then because we were out exploring the city. After an awkward "are you kidding me' look from both of us we were moved to a bigger, cleaner updated room. Even though we put the do not disturb sign on the door we still had housekeeping come into the room. Mind you not to clean it but to replenish towels and toilet paper. Maybe this is a plus or not. The last day of our stay the sign went missing. We wouldn't stay here again mostly because the front desk folks were extremely rude not only to us but to others which we witnessed just by standing in line waiting our turn.

Although the staff was kind to me, it seemed that I was in a foreign country. Very dated.

Friendly staff. I had a couple of issues which were addressed promptly.

It was great. I enjoyed my vacation.. The hotel was great.

Hotel and rooms need renovation, staff was ok. Definetly overpriced for quality offered. Decided to stay at another hotel even though cancellation fee was not refundable.

Good stay. Liked the location. Eric from front desk very friendly and provided all the information.

Hotel was a little dated but the location was good. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Had a nice large balcony. Pool was clean. Free parking and wi-fi. Continental breakfast was disappointing. Overall, budget friendly, clean, good for a couple of nights.

The old and well maintained hotel was very relaxing. I felt like I was in the south of France.

Historical hotel...friendly staff. We had a nice time and the Greek resturaunt in the hotel was delicious

The morning after our stay in this expensive Hotel, which it's not at all worth the money, we had many issues. On top of the tv not working, we had no hot water all morning. We wanted to have breakfast before we left for our cruise, so I phoned the front desk. Would you believe after she sent someone up who stated it would be hours before we had hot water, she told us we could change rooms on another floor. SERIOUSLY! We didn't have time to pack, move to a room, unpack, shower, pack again... I told her this, but that was ALL she offered. The manager was not there, and I can not seem to reach him either. We decided to skip the shower & have their so-called continental breakfast. REALL! TOAST & COFFEE. That's it! Anything else you had to pay for. OMG! I have been to less expensive hotels that had hot water & a nice breakfast. Do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Location-good. Many eating places nearby to choose from. Hotel-old, yes old. When a hotel is this old, it is difficult to make or keep it nice or clean. The hotel picture showed a nice water fountain but it appears to be part of the city. I am from a differrent part of the country where hotel staff would greet guests. Here it was just staring.
