Compared to other Nobu properties, this place just wasn't anywhere near as nice. The ambience of the welcome was fine, there were homeless looking people coming through the lobby trying to buy or sell drugs, the pool was ok, room service took passed the time projected every time, one of my colleagues got charged with a 'pet fee' for no reason, the 'Ocean Social' was the worst dining experience of my life. The rooms are gorgeous, and staff friendly. But this is not the Nobu 5 start standard, not even close.
