Stop on the way to LV, good hotel, cheap but good buffet.

Staff was very friendly, property a little old but expected.

The mattresses in the room must be 40 years old at least very very uncomfortable the springs are almost coming through the mattress they put me in a non-and a smoking room and I’m a non-smoker I would not ever recommend anybody staying here or will never visit that place again

Reserved two nights, but first night was pretty bad. Walls are thin and floors and ceiling squeak pretty bad. Additionally bed was pretty worn out and uncomfortable. Couldn't get any sleep and my back was killing me by morning. Spoke with manger first thing the next morning and told him I couldn't stay another night. He apologized and let me out if my second night's room reservation. Told me I would have to contact Orbitz for a refund on the second night because I made the reservation through them. Also he told me he would refund my "resort fee" and comped me breakfast. That said I played hell getting them to confirm with Orbitz what the manager told me for a refund. Orbitz must have contacted them 5 times on my behalf. I finally had to get involved. Eventually they did refund my room reservation for the second night, but I still never got a refund on my resort fee. I must say the hotel staff was really great, from the reception through management. The problem was the condition of the hotel and trying to get a refund. If you have a good back and don't mind noise, this place will work for you.

only food place in the facility was shut down. too far out of the way to get meals. did not serve a complimentary breakfast. no laundry facility. clean enough, nice staff. paper thin walls, can hear EVERYTHING in the next room.

Spacious Room, everyone was friendly and helpful. Check in staff went over and above to accommodate. The cafe had yummy food at a very reasonable price. The casino is a little small, but the machines are modern and the cocktail waitresses were eager to please. I loved it, hope to be back soon!

Took this hotel for the good prices. Necessary to drive 20 min or so to our south LV activities. Positives: Prices on room... plenty of parking.. large clean room.. safe location.. friendly staff.. close to freeway... good prices for food and drink in casino.. nice cafe in casino for breakfast.. Need Improvement: Older facilities.. elevator was being worked on the entire time we were there - seemed "iffy.." must drive 5 to 10 miles for fast food (except for a sandwich shop) or supermarkets.. no microwave or fridge in room.. Otherwise quite happy with this hotel for the money. No major complaints. Just understand its an older casino about 20 min from airport or the strip..

I did not stay at this hotel. I accidentally booked it, and the hotel refused to give my money back though I called to explain my error within minutes of having booked it. Apparently they are desperate for money and do not care about customer satisfaction. Instead of refunding my money (hiding behind an airtight "no refund" policy, the receptionist/manager was very rude and insulting to me. I don't stay at hotels where people treat me like that! i consider this thievery, to take the money of those not even using your service and to then treat them like crap!

It was good stay for what you pay better than motel 6

A/C in room did not work. Just the fan. I told the front desk about it and he said he'd let the engineer know. It was 102 degrees outside. I got no rest because it was too hot. I will never go back.

It was a one night quick stay. But every was fine during my stay.

Was a lil rustic and I was a lil disappointed that the pool was closed. Didn't offer very much for the price and the resort fee but it was ok.

Size of room was nice and it was clean. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. We stayed with our pets and staff was friendly and accommodating about dogs walking through the casino during their construction. Smoking in the casino, yuck.

Good place to stay that's not in Vegas but I waited to long to book. The location isn't bad and new interstate and exits make it easy to get to. Hoover Dam Boulder City and Lake Mead are closer. Pool was closed, my wife and daughters were disappointer. I'd stay again. Convenience store is being built and they are currently adding on to the main property.

There is construction going on all around the outside of the hotel. It’s hard and hazardous getting there and leaving. You might want to bring your four wheel drive. That said, the check in staff were very friendly and apologetic, so I was willing to overlook this. However, after checking in to a room on the 4th floor, neither elevator was working and the security guard had to walk me up the back fire stairs. He took pity on me and carried my suitcase up the last flight. I would have checked out and gone somewhere else at that point, but I was there on business, it was the weekend after Valentine’s Day as well, and I didn’t have time to waste. My room was fresh and clean, and staff fixed one elevator which read “3 people at a time” which everyone ignored except me, which scared me to death. But, I didn’t get stuck and I went on with my trip and lived to tell about it. :-)

Could use betterror mattresses, no where in shower to put soap and shampoo

Elevator stopped working suddenly between floors. All of us in the elevator were panicking. One kept yelling I can't breathe, and another one mentioned that this happened to him many times before while staying at this hotel. When we were finally rescued, we were told we cannot use the stairs. We must use the only other elevator in the whole hotel. What if that one decided to stop functioning too??!!!!!

The Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino is a small place with adequate accommodations. The night we used it, was the day before a big event in Las Vegas and the only reasonable place to get a room.
