Holiday Inn New Orleans West Bank Tower

Nice hotel with a great view. Stayed on 9th floor.

Bartender and food was great at hotel bar! Classy lady that knew her drinks and was not afraid to make excellent recommendations.

AC Hotels by Marriott New Orleans Bourbon

AC Bourbon Rating

Nice and clean but too small. Mgt. should do something about the bench like tables. They could reduce the number of beds per room (2) to create space for an actual table and chairs so that some people can actually do some work when they stay at the hotel.

Ramada by Wyndham Metairie New Orleans Airport

Nice choice for New Orleans area stay

This Ramada is an excellent choice for lodging, about halfway between the airport and downtown New Orleans, about 10 minutes to each, with easy access to I-10. After easy, driveup unloading via the provided luggage carts, you enter an inviting lobby close by the elevator. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and a variety of pillows. Rooms have a desk, flat panel TV, and a remarkably comfortable sofa. Upper rooms open to balconies, some of which overlook the pool. The free WiFi worked smoothly. A few minor glitches took away from an otherwise near-perfect lodging experience. The included “breakfast” is at the attached IHOP and only included two of coffee, juice, oatmeal, or English muffin; attempts to pre-order and pick up to take to room rarely worked. They changed coffee maker models during our stay; the new one took a long to work again after making the first cup. A loose electrical socket caused the TV to go off sometimes. The room might not be made up if a special request was not made. Our balcony looked out at a masonry wall, with only a slight view of the pool.
