The room #220 was very outdated. Everything was clean and safe. Staff was very accommodating. There was other room that may have been the ones i seen on website that was up to date. The pool was nice.

The staff members are very hospitality, they try to make sure that you are very comfortable. The hotel itself is full of mold, mildew, dirty carpet and not kept up to par, I will never stay there again.They need a whole upgrade of the bathroom with backup sewage, and mold on the ceiling shower curtain, and bathroom. I changed my room three times and it was still everywhere.

All we needed

I enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel. I wanted something historic and in the French Quarter. Walkability was great. The room had everything we needed. Valet service on site was quick and knowledgeable and full of recommendations. I did appreciate that the gate locks at night, so I definitely felt safer for that. Front desk and management was helpful. I did have an issue with the AC, but once it reported, it was fixed quickly (within an hour). Only other issue was one morning valet wasn’t in yet and the gate was locked, front desk seemed bothered I asked for help, said I don’t do that. No one was out there and security wasn’t out there. Did finally manage to get help and my car out. Hopefully it was just a one-off. Other than that interaction, all other interactions with staff were great and they were helpful.

If you're thinking of staying at the Dauphine, please read this review. This is one of those great instances where people go above and beyond for strangers. My girlfriend and I stayed there for three days/two nights. On the second day, we had horrific food poisoning, having nothing to do with the Dauphine, that completely and physically debilitated us. We were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The room was an absolute mess when we left due to how sick we were. When we came back from the emergency room, we were greeted by someone at the front desk who knew what he had been through and wanted to make sure we were ok. We got back to the room, and it was spotless. You could eat off the floor; it was so clean. The next morning, someone from the front desk came by to check on us and gave us a late checkout, allowing us to sleep in longer. This property is already such a gem, and the staff's professionalism, empathy, and generosity make the Dauphine such a special and unique property. We can't possibly recommend this property enough.

Great staff, great location, but hotel is dated

All the staff from the desk to the parking to the housekeeping were amazing and friendly. They made the visit better. Great location; easy walk to Bourbon St. But the rooms were really dated though and little attention to details to improve the quality. No bed skirts, soiled bed boards, dirty vents, dirty shower curtain bottom, old/worn chair, etc.

Everything about this place was great. Easy to walk to a lot of things with being in the French Quarter. Some good restaurants and food spots nearby and you are right next to bourbon street.
