I arrived late at night after a canceled flight, with my subsequent flight delayed by 3 hrs to find my room had been given away....I was turned away at 2am and told good luck in getting to the hotel across town!!!

Property was well kept and updated. Check in was horrible. Hotel staff was uninformed and did not have basic customer service communication skills. Check in took over 24 hours. Long story short, they sold our room (among many others) at a higher price, then pawned us off to another Hampton Inn nowhere near this location. Staff kept blaming it on housekeeping until we demanded a manager. The manager seemed to know exactly what the problem was but never told the staff. We got "walked" to the other property. Cab fare was reimbursed, but not the tip. So for my trouble, i ended up out of pocket $10.00, not a lot of money, but its the principle of having to come out of pocket for their screwup. When we got to the other Hampton Inn we had to wait over an hour, for you guessed it, housekeeping. Finally got the room, stayed in the middle of nowhere (convention center) for the night. So we lost a night of enjoying New Orleans nightlife, etc. So the next day we called the downtown property at 10 am and at 2pm and were told the room was not available--guess why...housekeeping. So we got the manager of the convention center property to call over and she was told that the room is available. We moved all of our stuff to the downtown property by 3pm and of course the room was not ready--housekeeping. They wanted to give us a smaller room but would not discount us for the trouble. So we waited, for about 45 minutes. Never again Hampton Inn.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was was very good as usual. Staff did a very good job as usual thank you

The hotel lobby and the room were both nice enough. The room had an odd smell, like maybe it hadn't been used in a long time. The fitness center was closed for renovation. We were told there was a fitness center nearby that Hampton would reimburse the fee. We never did find that place, but found another hotel that let us use their facility. Trolley tracks were under construction right outside the hotel.

While the area very near to the hotel is not the best, all you have to do is walk one block eastward and you are in the French Quarter. More walking around you realize a late hour convenient store is less than a block away as is breakfast spot (for Vegans) right next door. Just walk, stay alert, but get out and walk.

Was told because I booked thru a third party that I was not allowed to park on property…..Neighborhood unsafe and I was with my wife and daughter and late is when we checked in…..I was told to use a parking lot that was not even open…..I literally had to beg if I can park on property after getting something to eat and finally I got a clerk who was nice enough to help….2 other clerk were completely rude…..she was able to get me into the lot for the one night stay we had…..I could never recommend anyone to that property…..to top it off I’m a Hilton member☹️

Liked the property would stay there again close to places to eat and shop great location

I felt this was ridiculous and unsafe to get in at130am and have to go find parking 3 blocks away and then be told we could use valley parking but for 40 a night. There were other issues that made this a horrible experience.

I like the fact that it was close to everything and that made me happy 😃

This hotel was very clean and even during a pandemic it was well organized I will visit them again

It was a great location. I was in the center of everything

The property is in a great location close to Canal street, but yet far from the noise of Bourban street. However, in the evenings there is a group of homeless people who gather on the block and especially in front of the corner liquor market that have spent the day drinking, and using other unhealthy choices also they wore no mask or face coverings for Covid 19, this makes for a scary passing to and from the hotel. I would warn families (especially with daughters) to be very careful.

The location of this hotel is perfect. A few blocks off Bourbon Street and easy walking distance to French Quarter, WWII museum, Jackson Square and more. Morning breakfast was delicious and room was clean

Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Excellent location. Would go again.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel, rotating options daily. A few block walk from bourbon street and the French quarter, but quiet enough neighborhood to sleep at night. Room was a little on the small side, but it got the job done.
