Excellent front of the house staff from the doorman to everyone in between great experience felt like a VIP from the moment we arrived till we left special shout out to Sean. Excellent professional told him about my wife’s birthday and he sent us up a gift. Only small gripe would be there needs to be some type of handrails in the showers.

We stayed the weekend before Mardi Gras, it was an easy walk to the French Quarter and the parade routes. The 9th floor terrace room was quiet, clean and roomy. Free water in room, plus mini fridge and coffee maker. Rooftop bar was nice also.

We were here during a huge snowstorm. So there was very little staff and very few amenities for those of us trapped in the hotel. It would’ve been nice if there were some courtesies shown to us when we were trapped as we were the food is terrible the staff overworked The staff not happy. Our room was only attended to once in the five days we were there. The hotel was obviously totally unprepared for this event, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t think outside of the box and react quickly. We were denied the room up grade Until we were there for five days only got one glass of wine per person. In future I’ll book 5 separate days. At least it’s something in return for the high price we paid for the room.

The hotel desperately needs some updating and attention to cleanliness. I was afraid to put my bare feet on the floor in the room and wasn’t really certain it had been cleaned recently. The carpet was dirty. While the hotel staff was lovely the room itself was horrible. I requested a refund after being in the room less than an hour and the opportunity to rebook a room somewhere else, but the manager on duty denied this request. Hotel cleanliness is critical. I would not recommend staying here. Find another place.

The hotel was beautiful and staff very friendly. There was a problem with the hot water on the 2nd day of my stay and I was told it would be fix by the afternoon, It wasn't. On the 3rd day no hot water maintenance came to fix it but couldn't. He said they may need to change my room. I gave them time to work on that but nothing happened. I came back from breakfast and shopping no one had come to clean nor did anyone contact me about the hot water issue. I decided to check out early and I was told I'll be refund for the last night but now I see an additional charge on my card.

I booked a city view. When I arrived they said there are no views of the city. That Expedias room description is incorrect. I had to wait 3 hrs for check in. Just for them to give me a room that was not mine. & cancel it.

Birthday trip

I stayed here for my birthday trip and the hotel was everything! Sean & Dex checked me in and since my check in through my checked out every time I came past the desk the hospitality was amazing! Gave me some great food recommendations. My best part was the live DJ and band even down to the bartender knowing my order! I will definitely come back and stay here again! The only down side was the hot water went out one day of our stay but that wasn’t enough to make me unpleasant with my stay!

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. The hotel was in close walking distance to Canal and Bourbon ST. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the food at the restaurant but everything else was great.

Hotels.com false advertising about room not cool

Here’s a sample review: I recently stayed at NOPSI, expecting a 4-star experience based on their glowing advertisements, but unfortunately, the stay fell short in several areas. First and foremost, the service did not meet the standard I anticipated. The staff seemed indifferent to guest needs, and there was little effort to make my stay memorable or comfortable. I felt like just another number rather than a valued guest. The biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of hot water during my shower. For a hotel boasting a 4-star rating, this is simply unacceptable. After a long day of travel, not being able to enjoy a warm shower was incredibly frustrating. Despite bringing this up with the staff, no immediate solution was offered, which only added to the dissatisfaction. While the hotel may have some redeeming qualities—such as its decor or location—the basics of comfort and service were missing. I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a true 4-star experience. There are better options elsewhere.

This used to be the old New Orleans public services building and has been remodeled into a hotel. It’s spacious and clean and the architecture is cool
