Property is perfectly located close enough to all of the action but far enough to feel safer and more quietly! I would definitely stay here again. Staff was exceptional and the food and drinks at Public Service were great

Excellent & quiet location just outside the French quarter. Friendly and attentive staff.

Nice common areas, pool , lobby etc. website amenities are not accurate. No refrigerators in rooms as stated. No coffee in rooms. You go to lobby for coffee. Ran out of hot water. The staff is very nice there.

Rooms were not cleaned everyday. When asked reported staff had left for the day. Manager was condescending.

As a hotel, the NOPSI is beautiful and well within walking distance to many touristic sites in New Orleans. I was visiting for a conference and ended up loving a lot of the restaurants nearby (Johnny Sanchez and Dominique, in particular). What most disappointments me is the lack of VIP recognition and rewards this hotel offers. In particular, I was only offered $10 off mini bar items. Upon checkout, I was told that I would not be charged for those items, but weeks later I see the charge on my credit card statement. Getting in touch with the manager was impossible, and a waste of time (staff were unprofessional and had me going around in circles). I ended up eating the $10 and promising myself I would never go back there.

While the hotel and front desk staff are excellent the food service staff is inefficient and turned a great weekend into our wurst nightmare.

Personnel very helpful and friendly, always by the front door willing to assist and hold the door open for you. The bartender at night in the lobby bar was fun to talk with and she new her drinks.

The hotel is nicely designed and maintained and well located on a quiet street, with an attentive and friendly staff. I felt the room was small (even though a king room) but the bathroom was very large, using space that the room could have benefited from! The air conditioning was somewhat noisy.

Great aesthetics, supremely spacious, and very trendy roof top pool and bar. Park your vehicle yourself at the public garage around the corner nad use the difference to linger longer at the roof top bar!

I had the most wonderful hotel experience at NOPSI Salamander in New Orleans. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant, helpful and made sure whatever I needed at the time, whether it was additional wash clothes, directions, restaurant and entertainment recommendations or assistance with travel throughout the City was provided. It was such a pleasure to see staff, no matter where you may have encountered them with a smile and a pleasant hello. If I am ever in a city where there is a Salamander Hotel that’s where I will make reservations.
