Great room, location makes it a little loud. Very clean, neatly decorated. Right outside the French Quarter. The Ruby S Slipper was amazing for breadfast or bunch.

The staff was amazing and everyone was very pleasant from the moment we walked in! The room was spacious and beautiful and had a full kitchen, the living room area was large and was nicely decorated. We were able to walk to many restaurants and stores, everything was so close by. Definitely recommend for any occasion, my son was with us and the staff gave him a ball and played with him when we were waiting in the lobby.

Just wish they made the sofa bed and I didn't have to otherwise great property

Stayed here with my nieces and nephew on our annual adventure. Great location and beautifully decorated room. The staff was very friendly and on the ball.

Lovely hotel! In a perfect location, walking distance from everything. Close but far away from the Bourbon street noise. We had a suite with two levels-awesome for a family with kids. Great Sun deck on 4th floor. Great and helpful staff. Price was very reasonable. Will come back again for sure! Unique decoration gave us a feeling of being at friends house and not in a hotel.

It is a time share property so it does not quite function like a hotel. Housekeeping is minimal and since there is a microwave, there is no breakfast but there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. And like most hotels in the French quarter, only valet parking is available and it is expensive. Try to stay away from the elevators as they get noisy.

the location right on the edge of the French quarter is nice. good restaurants right around.(huck finn and a block away something place for cheap good crawfish) the room is large with a siting room and small area sorta kitchen. no stove just a microwave. no daily room make over just clean towels and empty garbage. rooms are expensive in this area but I would stay again across canal street in a normal hotel.

My wife and 1 year old just spent the past 4 days at Bluegreen. Overall, I would say we enjoyed it and had a good time. Would I recommend Bluegreen to my friends...yes. But only with a disclosure with the CONS listed below. PROS: - The rooms have a mini condominium feel (living area, kitchen area, bedroom with door and two closets) - Spacious bathroom - On Ducater Street (very close to everything but outside of the craziness) - Low street noise - TV in both bedroom and living area - Friendly staff CONS: - The walls between each room are pretty thin - No parking lot (only metered parking or valet for $35) - Checkin for us was an hour late so don't show up at their 4pm checkin time - No pool (but I'm not sure if the bigger name hotels even have pools in the French Quarter) I don't recommend renting a car if you stay at Bluegreen. You'll be close enough to walk to nearly any attraction. If you do have a car, I highly recommend becoming a rewards member at Harrah's (casino) and you can receive 24 hours free parking in their garage for 30 minutes of play.

Like many of the reviews that gave me confidence to book this hotel, I'll agree that the facilities are beautiful and very clean. The location is great if you want to be near the French Quarter (though I prefer Uptown and the Garden District, which are very close) and the staff was very kind and attentive. The photos provided here are accurate, but our room was a little smaller than expected (notthe sort of expansive loft shown in one picture), but ours was a one bedroom and we did enjoy a balcony. A little pricey, but it was Mardi Gras and a last minute reservation, so we understood. My only real complaint was that when we got to the hotel at 12, four hours before check in, we were told our room would be available before the check in, which was great. We checked back at 2:30 and it wasn't ready. At 3:40 we can back because we were too tired of walking around and were told it would be ten minutes. Thirty minutes later (now past 4:00), we were told ten more minutes, etc. Between 12 and 4, the front desk staff changed three times. I don't know what the issue was, but in a hotel that requires a 10am check in, there was no reason our room took so long to clean. Maybe because there are dishes and whatnot to clean, maybe they privilege members of BlueGreen Club to leave later, but the timing was an issue for us. They said they would look into "what happened," but besides an 11am "late" check out, we sorta just had to put up with it. Admittedly, we were there very early, but I think a standard hotel could have worked us in much faster. I would recommend this place, surely, but I'm not sure I'll be back for what will always be for us a very short trip. It's too little time in the room and, I imagine, the place is really there for it's club members, not random guests.

Overall it was pretty awesome. Parking sucks if you don't get valet. We chose valet for $35 a night, since we had a pick up a friend early morning. All girls. Valet takes about 15-20 min, but its NOLA. They probably got to park far. I would definitely stay again. Also, it doesn't say on the amenities, but the sofabed has sheets, pillows and blankets.

Hi I went to the Bluegreen Club La Pension for a birthday trip and enjoyed my stay so much that I want to be a member. It was spacious and close to everything in the French Quarter so I could walk to everywhere we went. The staff was very nice and showed me and my guests a great time.

This hotel should be a 5 star hotel. Will, Iesha, and Anthony were the most gracious hotel staff I've ever experienced. The hotel is more beautiful than the pictures and is convenient to everything. We were treated like we owned the place. Thank you, Will.

Beware, check out time is 10:00 and if you aren't out by 11:00, they threaten to charge you for another day. Why wasn't this disclosed at check in? This is the earliest check out time I have ever seen. The staff needs some management help. Valet parking took over 15 minutes to get your vehicle. They need to push back the check in time from 3:00 to 4:00 or 4:30 so that they can push back their check out time. This would allow employees to have guests check out over time and not clog the front desk and valet just before the 11:00 deadline to check out. The room, the balcony, it was all incredible. It's too bad that everything went well the entire trip until 10:45 on the day of checkout when they threatened to charge us another day with 15 minutes notice. It's just unfortunate that the checkout experience was the last thing we experienced at this hotel and the worst experience that we had throughout the weekend. It had us leaving wishing we had stayed somewhere else that didn't run us out in 15 minutes.
