Service counter and concierge were extremely unhelpful through our duration of our trip and when I went to the concierge to schedule some sightseeing Tours of the city they tried to set us up to sell us a timeshare with this hotel very pushy. Never had this happen at the concierge desk very unprofessional. Service staff and doorman whenever other stations

The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, I could easily walk to a lot of places. I didn't have a refrigerator in my room, that was inconvenient.

The staff was not friendly - not 1 hello during our 7 day stay. House keeping choose not to clean our room 1 day. No explanation.

Everything was okay at the hotel except the Ole Saint restaurant. It was the only restaurant that I didn’t enjoy in New Orleans. The breakfast was cold and overpriced. The dinner was likewise. Not only was the food bad, the staff was slow and inattentive.

No complaints at all...no view of anything from out me room

1. A lot of door slamming all the time. Maybe the installation of weatherstripping on the doorframes might cure this ailement. 2. The air conditioning unit kept us awake all night. 3. When we asked the consierge for some advise about city tours, she turned it into a selling opportunity for Wyndam timeshares. Not cool. Three strikes and I will never use this site again.

Every single member of the staff from valet to registration to restaurant staff to bell hops and door men and women were amazingly pleasant and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The location was safe and convenient. I had a wonderful stay!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The valet parking guys are friendly and help me a lot parking my motorcycle.

Doormen great. Front desk could be improved. Older gentleman over others for cleaning excellent!

Only took cabs to and from airport, walked everywhere else. Hotel was great, mostly quiet and very secure. Only complaint is hotel restaurant.. my boyfriend ate the crab salad sandwich at Ole Saint on our first day and was sick for most of our trip.

Very good hotel with everything/ all you need within 100 feet. My favorite hotel yet in the French Quarter

Liked the accomodations. Friendly staff. Close to everything.

The stay in the French quarter was pleasant and uneventful. The location in Riyal Street is very convenient.

This was only about two blocks off of Canal Street. Walking distance to most everything in the French Quarter. Elevator was a little slow but other than that it was excellent. Nice safety feature about the elevator you had to have your room key in order to use it.

The Wyndham was a saving grace for my mom and I. We had just left a "boutique hotel" and thank God we found the Wyndham and a great deal. From the time we arrived the staff was welcoming and kind. The concierge is great and the location is wonderful it's in the "mix" but not too in the "mix". I plan to stay at the Wyndham as I travel the states and abroad.

Stayed here from August 6-10 for our 25th wedding anniversary trip. It was our first time in New Orleans so we wanted to stay close to the French Quarter since we did not have a car. The Wyndham on Royal Street was perfect for that. Booked on Orbitz at a terrific price. Park your car and leave it because it is within walking distance from everything you may want to do downtown. Check in and check out was a stress free and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to any need that arose. The security provided makes you feel safe and secure as you cannot get past the lobby after hours without your room key. If anyone does manage to get past the guard without him stopping them they cannot access the elevator to the guest floors without scanning their room key. Room was immaculate and bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel was very quiet despite being smack in the middle of the French Quarter. If I had to list a negative it was that the shower doesn't get hot enough. Also, I assume because the hotel has an onsite restaraunt our room did not have a microwave or refrigerator. That's not to say that none of the rooms have them but ours didn't. However those things are minor and in no way should influence your decision. This is a great hotel in a perfect location with an extremely competent and friendly staff. I will be staying here again when we return to New Orleans. I've already told my brother about the Wyndham on Royal as he will be there in September. A++ experience.

Great hotel near all the tourist attractions. Acme Oyster right around the corner, easy to walk to most places in French Quarter and friendly informative staff.

Great location in french quarter with shopping and casino close by, lots of restaurants to choose

2nd time in this lovely place in a month. Loved it both times. Friendly staff.

The location is perfect, the lobby & common areas are nice, The rooms need some updating (popcorn ceilings & walls).
