Great location; friendly staff.

I has a wonderful time at the hotel!!!

Liked it was in the middle of the French Quarter. It had a courtyard that my room opened on. Facility has a pool which is good although I didn't use it.

Was great

We we’re greeted immediately by Sierra, then someone from concierge helped us find a place to eat (I wish I knew her name). Jabari took our luggage, and was always very pleasant. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely come back here and highly recommend it.

I’ve never enjoyed such a spacious room! It was wonderful. You couldn’t ask for a better location if your goal is to explore the French Quarter.

The end of Bourbon street that the Hyatt occupies is probably the most disgusting street I have come across. On the other side of the coin I ate some of best meals I ever had at establishments within walking distance of the Hyatt. Nice Hotel in a bad part of town. Would I go to New Orleans again? Definitely but would stay further down canal towards the river

Staff was very helpful and friendly

Nothing special

Very nice hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect not too close to the craziness of Bourbon Street but definitely close enough to walk there and close to Canal street to catch the street cars. Very clean. I recommend the room with a balcony so you can enjoy the pool view when ur ready to drink and relax. I will definitely be staying there at our next visit to New Orleans.

Old, smelly rooms, off site parking, dirty carpets in the room. not a 4 star definitely

The room was clean and beautiful. Staff was awesome, they were all friendly and ready to help

I loved the hotel it was nice and the staff was welcoming

Arrived at the property, and a gentleman was being hauled out of the Hyatt Centric to what appeared to be an overdose. It was about 11:30am and we tried to check in early. We were told we can pay a fee and they could do an early check in, so we decided to wait. They held our luggage and told us to come back at 4pm. We noticed the Red Cross serving box lunches. We came back to checking in to see more unruly kids running around, people walking around without masks, which caused the hotel staff to stop checking in people and tend to people that seemed intoxicated, and not being considerate of anyone around. We were told, not by any hotel staff, that these individuals we displaced from Hurricane Sally from Lake Charles and housed at the Hyatt Centric FQ. I’m glad all these individuals now have a safe place to stay, but we were not advised as paying hotel guests that this was taking place. The poolside rooms had kids running and screaming in and out of them. Kids would run around with snacks throwing them on the ground when they were finished. I stopped this little girl from throwing a bag of Cheetos in the pool. Parents screaming at the kids across the pool area and locking them out of their rooms. People yelling from the balconies. The pool had a film around the edges. Dogs using the bathroom around the pool area and no pool towels. We were awakened at 2:30am to a man yelling at his wife and punching walls in the room next to us. Loud music from the hotel rooms all hours.

We were unaware that the Hyatt Centric French Quarters was hosting refugees from Hurricane Laura. While we understand the need for these people to have shelter, this made our full-priced stay very uncomfortable. There were people hanging out in the front drive, lobby, hallways and pool area. They were loud and rude, arguing with the state police posted to watch over them and the entire hotel smelled like weed smoke. There was trash piled up outside nearly every door. Overall the hotel was nice, we enjoyed people watching from our Bourbon St Balcony, but didn’t feel safe when we left our room.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was always friendly and accommodating to our needs. We had the two bedroom petite suite and the pictures did not do it justice, we were very impressed by the layout and size of the room.

Very profession greeting with virus safety evident. Room very clean and ready. Everyone very courteous. Will stay again.
