The lack of housekeeping is horrible. We did not have clean towels for 4 days. We always took our do not disturbed sign down to let them know we needed the service. On the 4th day of drying off with hand towels we had to ask 2times for clean towels. The security is fairly decent. The only problem was that people were letting in non registered people. We watched a security guard get into a screaming match with a homeless lady in the lounge. This was after she walked around to all the tables asking people to buy her food and drinks. When you would say no, she became angry. The door men were fantastic. They always greeted you with a smile and a kind word. The front desk was just as kind and helpful. The lounge was amazing. Great food and wonderful service. The fitness room is open 27/7, which is nice. The hotel was clean and always stocked with items to purchase should you want to.

The hotel was close to everything without being in the French Quarter / Bourbon Street. We have stayed at JW Marriott's in many locations and they aren't the cheapest but are almost always really nice. We learned after arrival there wouldn't be room service and we had 2 rooms for 3 nights. I know the challenges of finding and staffing employees these days but there wasn't a discount and when you pay full price at a premium hotels you expect full service which wasn't received. The team in the lobby were very friendly and helpful. Despite the lack of any type of room service I would return.

Hotel is clean lobby area is nicely decorated and my bed was comfortable. Close to tourist interest without having all the noise that comes with it. Staff was very helpful in navigating around.

They forgot to clean our room. Need to be an engineer to figure out the shower/tub.
