Our stay at the Hotel was very pleasant, the suite was very nice and we loved the real New Orleans feeling as the Hotel is a treasure of the City in a true old neighborhood. We loved everything except the cleaning service. They did not come at all the first day and we had to call for clean towels. The second day after I had called they came late afternoon with clean towels again. The suite was never cleaned entirely during our stay. Other than that we loved it.

Location very good. Close to French Quarter, French Market and Beignets!! No elevator, so be prepared to walk the stairs. A little bit on the old, dingy and a little dirty side. Beds were comfortable. Staff friendly. Pool clean and in good condition. Bathrooms updated. Very quiet at night.

Nice quiet hotel in a great location, close to Frenchman street.

While we had a lovely room and hotel is definitely quintessential New Orleans and location is awesome the room walls are paper thin. Our second night there was a family of five next door that kept us awake until 3:30, not what you are looking for the night before an 11 hr drive.

We are delighted with our stay at Lamothe House. We wanted to be close to Frenchman Street for the nightlife and Lamothe House is perfect for that being only two short blocks from the heart of the club district and yet quiet and safe feeling. Esplanade is a beautiful street and so much of the Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street, and the Decatur Street areas are an easy walk from the hotel. The gal working the reception desk was very helpful and even gave us some great recommendations when we happened to see her near the clubs.

Very close to bourbon st, french quarters. Staff is very accomodating & friendly.

The staff was very nice. When we got there the tv in our room was messed up. We told the man at the desk and he immediately moved us to a better room but that one had not been cleaned yet so he moved us to an even bigger room that was very nice. The pool wasnt very clean, there were leaves and grass in the bottom and the hot tub was not even luke warm but over all i enjoyed my stay for my first new orleans experience.

Great location and well appointed, clean room and facilities. Easy access to anywhere we wanted to be with convenient parking (for a fee)

Wonderful History, great Architecture, excellent location .

If you are looking for a quaint authentic New Oleans hotel, you should try this one. The room and bed was very comfortable! The pool came in handy and the courtyard was beautiful. I recommend this hotel!

Check in was fast and they had a secure parking lot for an additional 20 a night. You are within 2 to 3 blocks for the main attractions and a easy trolley or cab ride from anything else. I did like the k cups/coffee machine in the room. Wish their was a fridge. Both me and my wife had a great stay here.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is walking distance from French market. the pool is small but the courtyard is gorgeous. They did a wonderful job preserving all the history of the house. Watch out for the roaches tho. We found a few of them in our room and were told they weren't roaches but Palmetto bugs , only to google it and find out that Palmetto bugs is another name for the common American roach lol. That being said we also found out that they're very common to the area . Not sure what the hotel could do differently as it was not filthy or gross at all, they were very apologetic when we brought it up to them and even came down to clean them out. I would definitely stay here again, but I would just check the bathroom before going in next time as to not get a heart attack from those flying SOBs. Apparently they like wet dark places and hair .

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel. From Miciah, at the front desk, to the cute rooms and the quaint grounds. We had such a great stay and cannot wait to go back!

Good location on the edge of the French Quarter but not so close that you have all the noise and traffic

Amazing hotel great location. For overnight parking it was well worth the money compared to other hotels. I will be sure to stay here again. Only drawback was the shower it didn't drain really good besides that amazing place amazing room will be coming back

Quaint old house, converted to a hotel type stay. Interesting history. amazing 1830 to 1850 construction with lots of history. The staff was outstanding, helpful and very friendly. They had all the information necessary for the daily tours in the New Orleans area.

Great location to all we wanted to see in NOLA walking distance to river, heart of French Market and Frenchman St. with good music. Good restaurants close by, which was good after a day of walking or the one evening it rained. You do need to be in good shape to haul your luggage up the narrow stairs. Room was small, but very nice, functional and modern given that it's in an historic building.

Lovely 19th century townhouse just one block from all the great music clubs on Frenchman Str. Clean and comfortable room with solid AC. Nice courtyard with pool (if you're so inclined). Would stay there again and recommend it if you want a good location near the best music of NO.

The staff wonderful. Jonathon was wonderful. Erica was nice and the employee (woman) was wonderful I do not remember her name.. Great Hotel.

Great Hotel in the heart of everything! Hotel is in the art district. This was great has it was a easy walk to canal and royal st. Staff was great and price was reasonable. Much better than just a plain Hotel!
