Great location in south Garden District for shopping, walking to restaurants, close to WWII museum, free off of street parking and one block from trolly route. Private courtyard for when you want to escape the city.

The charm of the historic property is what attracted us to stay here. The rooms were nice & clean & the staff were all very friendly & helpful. My only issue was that there is no elevator. Not a big deal, but I don't have the best knees, so I had to take the stairs slowly.

The property is very unique. The two level set up was quirky; enjoyable for the first night until it was time to get down them to use the restroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The free parking is a HUGE plus and the hotel is a short UBER or LYFT ride to French Quarter. The room was very musty and remained smelling that way during our stay (we were there for 3 nights). The carpet is NASTY. Let me just say, we walked barefoot and the carpet made our feet filthy. So gross. The shower had black mold in the corners. But the water pressure was awesome and the water temp spot on. The one and only time I went to eat, I poured myself some Raisin Bran from the container, poured milk and then saw the floating beetles in the bowl. I had actually spooned myself some cereal that I promptly spit back into the bowl. I appreciated the cost. But next time, I will spend the money for a cleaner place to stay.

The room was small but nice. Handy location. Neighborhood was a little sketchy

Small room but nice and clean. Don't stay downstairs. The floor above our head kept us awake all night, the floor creak's really bad when people walk across it.

Great location, pleasant and friendly staff. Breakfast offerings could be better.

It wasn't until check in that we learned that they did not accept the park and cruise that was found on the site. The person at the front desk was rude and unable to assist. Gave me the number of the manager, who was not available. We were leaving on our cruise the next day and were stuck with what to do with our vehicle. If we stayed there it would be towed and the only thing that they offered was to cancel the reservation and rebook through them for more money. We were able to find another hotel and we left. The room was cute, however, it was old and musty smelling. Would not recommend this hotel.

Wish there was some better breakfast, which is not necessarily expensive!

Staff was great. Hotels not bad for the price, but she is showing tbe years and could do with a face lift.

Unique accommodations, rooms with two queen beds are unique, one is up a sprial stair case. Rooms are comfortable.

Greeted fine by staff. Floor in room was dirty & doors of bathroom & entrance were quite dirty! (not handles). Cute tiny hotel with breakfast outside.

Super cute hotel and great location. The rooms were fairly musty and had an old smell to them. We had a couple of small dead worms on our bathroom floor and the floor was super sticky. We requested to have someone mop the bathroom floor, which the staff responded to immediately. After that, we had a great stay!

Everything was great except there were no towels on our room, a dirty wash rag hanging from the towel rack & a mans facial hair trimmings around the sink. The house keepers clearly didn't finish cleaning the room.

half a block from St.Charles St. Trollie stops on the corner and can ride it to French Quarter or transfer to bus#11 and Magazine St. Rooms are small but nicely arranged. Quaint courtyards. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Step in shower. LOVED the bed! Prices excellent. Breakfast was a little bleak so head out to a fine restaurant for some NO cuisine.

We had a really good time. This is a beautiful neighborhood. I would recommend taking the trolleys, they run pretty much all over tourist areas. It a pain to drive and park not to mention costly. I bought power passes, for us it worked out.

Dear guest, I am sorry you did not have a perfect experience. It is great to know that although smaller than big box hotel rooms, , the room was nice and clean, and far below big box hotel price. As far as the creaky floor above you, I wish you had advised us . We would have re assigned your room number so you would have had a restful slumber. . I also wish you would have advised us so we can address the repairs needed. We can’t fix what we don’t know is broken. I can’t ascertain this information based upon your anonymity. We will do our best to figure it out so others don’t have the same issue.
