Great hotel. Enjoyed late night food on our arrival in the bar. Very helpful and attentive to requests. Would recommend hotel to anyone visiting NOLA. Casino next door!

This is a great location convenient to all things happening in downtown New Orleans - 5 minute walk to the Aquarium, less than 10 minute walk to Bourbon St. The hotel was beautifully decorated with very clean rooms. The valet service was exceptional but the rest of the staff was very marginal. Bartenders were down right rude (very snobby to be more exact). I would definitely stay here again and it's a great place for families, couples, friends, etc.

We stayed for 4 night and enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool area was very nice and relaxing. We were glad it wasn't outside since the heat in New Orleans during August is not very pleasant. The staff were all nice and efficient. We did have an issue where the housekeeping never left face cloths on two different days. The hotel is located in a great spot. You can walk to the French Quarter as well as some of the new "in" spots in what used to be the warehouse/business section.All in all we definitely recommend the hotel.

The train going by kept waking me up and there is no mini-bar in the room which is especially annoying because the bar closes at 11. Felt more like Salt Lake City than New Orleans

Nice Hotel, Perfect location. I would return back

We only stayed one night but everything about our hotel experience was perfect. One of our party needed to stay on a lower floor and the hotel was able to put them on the lowest floor for rooms even though we told them this as we checked in. The room was large, clean and well laid out and the beds were comfortable. Our view of the Mississippi River was spectacular! The staff was very responsive and friendly. I will be staying here again!

The hotel staff was wonderful. The desk clerks and restaurant managers were very accommodating. There was always someone to open the doors as we walked in might not seem too terribly important unless you have small children and many bags, as we did.

The hotel was a good value for the money. Staff was kind and helpful. The location is very good and just three blocks from the French Quarter. I'd recommend it.

The room was awesome. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable as well, I didn't want to get up in the morning. I'd DEFINITELY stay there again.

Everything was top-notch! Stayed for our anniversary and it was great in every respect from room to staff to gym and location!

Stayed for 2 nights during Halloween weekend. The room and bathroom were very spacious with nice toiletries. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The restaurant Cafe Adelaide is under the same management as Commander's Palace. The service there was slow but the food was delicious. The lobby has undergone recent renovations and is very stylish. It was pretty easy to catch cabs in front of the hotel and the hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter. The level of service for a high-end hotel was the only thing lacking. The doormen were all super friendly and nice. However, we happened to be staying in a room with a connecting door to another family with a baby. I was there for a bachelorette party so we were in the room chatting and getting ready for a Saturday night out. We received a noise complaint because the walls were so thin the next room could hear us. The first manager asked us to turn down our music, which we promptly did. Then another manager Arden, returned and tried forcing us to switch rooms (which was pointless bc we were checking out the next day) and threatened to kick us out if we didn't. I didn't appreciate being threatened to leave when we were paying guests and were not making excessive noise beyond talking and laughing. We decided not to switch rooms and just had to literally whisper the rest of the night. I think the whole situation could have been handled better. In addition, someone was smoking on our floor one night and entire hallways smelled like an ashtray. The maid service was mediocre. She just replaced the towels and shampoo and didn't appear to clean much else. The beds were made but still looked rumply.

Overall this hotel was amazing. AC gave us trouble

The hotel was recently renovated and the room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were wonderful.

great, convenient location

We stayed for 4 night and enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool area was very nice and relaxing. We were glad it wasn't outside since the heat in New Orleans during August is not very pleasant. The staff were all nice and efficient. We did have an issue where the housekeeping never left face cloths on two different days. The hotel is located in a great spot. loud train and no mini-bar
