We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location and a great room.

It was as advertised

Friendly, convenient and well priced.

Awesome boutique hotel! Great location within walking distance to the French Quarter and with easy access to the streetcars in Canal St. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. 1 block from the Sazerac House (great distillery/museum). The parking is about 1 block away, attached to a mall. There are a couple of parking spots on the street in front of the hotel for loading and unloading, though I had a hard time parking there to pick up my luggage upon check-out. The hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in so that I was able to park my car and go to the Garden District for a tour. The front desk staff was very friendly and gave me some great recommendations.

The hotel itself was okay for the area. The main thing I wasn’t crazy about (which is completely out of their control), is how you can hear the street from your room. I was awoken at 5am to the sound of the garbage truck, which stood outside for approximately ten minutes collecting trash. The rooms could be brighter, but overall the hotel is decent and in a great location. Easy to walk to everything needed especially Bourbon Street.

Located a bed bug at time of check in — was quickly moved to another room on a different floor. While checking second room for bugs, noted lots of rogue hairs on mattress protector. Chair in room was horribly dirty with food and debris. Staff was amazing however. They were friendly, apologetic (about the bed bug) and were helpful in ordering a cab at 4am. I would not stay here again due to the cleanliness but the staff was fantastic. Also, the hotel is in a great location if you’re visiting the French Quarter.

This property is very clean. We loved the old feel with modern updates. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything is within walking distance.

Only issue is slow to little WiFi. Apparently getting fixed tomorrow.

Tucked right in the middle of where you wanna be. Close to bourbon street, the river, the outlet mall and the casino. No Uber needed! The room was cozy and the staff was helpful when needed

This hotel is in the best location! Easy to get anywhere while just walking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Very welcoming staff that go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be.

Suggested providing a rack to hang the bath rugs on because they don't dry out left on the floor. Also, microwave was

The unique part about this property is that it's adjacent to an actual art gallery.

Arrived late to the hotel and the staff was friendly at check in. Once in the room, I noticed small bugs on the sheets. The room smelled of mildew and the bed was wet. I went down to the lobby and the staff apologized and gave me another room. Once in the new room I noticed small bugs on the sheets in the new room. Again, I went back to the front desk and asked for a full refund. They gave me a refund and checked me out. They gave me a card with the managers email to express the concern.

Overall my stay at lagalerie was pleasant, I had no problems,The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. My only issue is with the shower water pressure was low and the shower door opens to the inside as opposed to the outside. Meaning u have to go in the shower in order to turn on the water, or u will wet up the whole bathroom, and the water was cold when u first turn it on. U can’t adjust the water temperature before u go in the shower .

This is right in the middle of everything off of canal street and a few blocks away from bourbon street. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers on a girls trip. The staff were professional, lacking a bit of friendliness. The room itself was nice and clean, but very noisy. At night we heard everything on the street, people walking above us and a dog barking for 2 days. Inside the room, although the AC was on, it was still very humid and sticky. Beds were comfy with plenty of linens and towels. Decent place, we felt safe.

Fantastic location for people looking to start at one end of the quarter and walk to the other and back. Tons of shops and restaurants close by, The hotel was quiet and rarely heard other guests. Front desk folks catered to Amy request we had and were genuinely nice people. If I go back to NOLA I’ll stay at La Galerie.

The front desk staff was amazing! Wish i new her name

Mikayla, it's encouraging to hear that you appreciated the convenient location of La Galerie Hotel French Quarter, which made exploring the city and reaching key attractions like Bourbon Street easier for you.We understand, however, that the noise from the city streets, such as the early morning garbage truck, may have caused a little interruption to your peace. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. For future visits, we'd be more than welcome to suggest rooms in quieter parts of the hotel in an effort to provide an environment more conducive to rest. We've also taken note of your feedback regarding the room brightness. While we've worked hard to create a cozy atmosphere, we realize that some guests may prefer more light in their rooms. Your suggestion is appreciated and will be taken into consideration in our ongoing effort to improve the guest experience.Despite these points, we're glad to hear that you found our hotel to be decent. At La Galerie Hotel French Quarter, we consistently strive to provide a comfortable stay complemented by an optimal location. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back, offering an experience even better than the last.

Rebecca N, we want to express our deepest apologies for the less-than-satisfactory experience you encountered at our establishment. Ensuring the cleanliness of our rooms is a top priority and we are genuinely disheartened to learn that this standard was not upheld during your recent stay. Our team immediately investigates any concerns of this nature, and rest assured, the issue reported has been taken with the utmost seriousness. We have worked diligently to address the problems you encountered and will reinforce our cleaning protocols to prevent such issues in the future. It's gratifying to learn, though, that our team members were able to leave a positive impression on you. We take pride in the level of service they provide and it's wonderful to hear that their friendliness and efficiency were standout aspects of your visit, particularly their responsiveness to your concerns and their assistance with your early morning transportation needs. While we understand that this was not the experience you were hoping for, we appreciate that you recognized our location as ideal for experiencing the vibrant French Quarter. Again, we extend our sincerest apologies for the challenges you faced and we are deeply committed to learning from this situation to provide higher quality experiences for our future guests. We hope that in spite of these shortcomings, we might have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a more positive and comfortable visit.
