The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Like how it has the old time look and feel of higher class. Was within walking distance to everything that we had planed to do on are trip. Was clean and very well maintained. Service was a little lacking. Called the from deck a few for some water bottle to be brought up to the room and they never arrived. Water pressure in the shower was very poor. And couldn't utilize the extra shower Jets, or tilt them so that they would hit you. But great place to stay.

It feels very historic and elegant, very old-world. I know it was fairly full during my stay, but it never felt crowded or noisy. I literally could not hear anything from the hallway or the next rooms. The service was very good (except in the small cafe -- that was disappointing), with just enough attention, but never intrusive. My room was in Tower 1, on the second floor, so I didn't have a view of anything except the roof of the next building. However, there is a lovely rooftop pool with bar service which was perfect for relaxing. The room service food was excellent. The hotel is across Canal Street from the French Quarter, so I wasn't kept awake by tourists partying all night long. This was a real gem, a splurge that did not break the bank. I definitely would like to come back to NOLA, and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Very elegant hotel with great staff and great customer service

We were so very fortunate to stay her during the Christmas holidays. Few experiences compare to the joy and beauty of the lobby and the excitement of the people taking their Christmas pictures is contagious. All of the small children were dressed up and excited as well as young couples and families. It was great!

We had a lovely stay. Check in was quick and the room was great!

Friendly staff. Easy checkin. Walkable location.

Beutiful old school hotel. Convenient location. Staff great

We love the Roosevelt. We stayed in tower 2 which is our preferred tower. The rooms in Tower 2 are large, have extremely high ceilings, and big bathrooms. The maid came everyday while we were out and every night turn down service was provided. We stayed on the 8th floor and had a decent view of the city. We really enjoy the lobby and like drink our morning coffee there in the morning.

Really nice lobby and great restaurants on ground level. Rooftop pool and bar were nice. Despite upgrading my room to a King Superior- it was somewhat small and the bathroom wasn't as clean as I expected. My family stayed in the same hotel and seemed to have nicer and bigger rooms, so I recommend looking at your room before accepting it.

We’ve stayed in many very nice hotels, including the Monteleone, also in New Orleans; however, the Waldorf suite at the Roosevelt is, by far, the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Huge, clean, comfortable, and plush, we felt very at home and comfortable. The staff was attentive and very nice. Highly recommend.

Have always wanted to stay at The Roosevelt at Christmas time. Beautiful, excellent staff and atmosphere was magical. Was able to enjoy and relax in comfort and style.

Spent a total of three nights . This is the noisest hotel I have ever stayed at . The deluxe rooms are so small and dont offer any complimentary coffee , tea or water . Will never stay here again .

Enjoyed stay, was in town for birthday celebration. Valet staff door always friendly and helpful. Received text asking if we needed anything extra, nice touch. Staff in restaurants/bar very friendly and attentive. My wife stole my drink French 75.. was outstanding. Will be back in December

The elevators were broke and service was slow in general

A great place and great time. All u can expect and more.

Nice room upgrade that was unexpected. Domenica is the restaurant- great. Fun bar- Sazerac.

The hotel was beautiful, and we felt very safe in the busy city!

The Roosevelt was a beautiful hotel with a very opulent design, reminiscent of the Great Gatsby! However, the staff was so warm and friendly that you didn't feel as if you were staying in a hotel, but more like at a small bread and breakfast, because the staff was so attentive and hospitable. The location is excellent, as it is just outside the French Quarter and a 15 minute walk to the Superdome. The one negative incident that occurred during my stay involved the evening chambermaid dropping my makeup bag on the floor, resulting in several high end products to crumble. My boyfriend casually mentioned this to the morning shift chambermaid who, unbeknownst to me, reported it to her supervisor. I received an unexpected call on the hotel phone from Ms. Garcia who immediately apologized for the incident and immediately offered to reimburse me for the damage! I wasn't even going to report it and here was someone from the hotel taking the initiative to correct the situation. Based on this incident and the overall splendor and service, I HIGHLY recommend the ROOSEVELT and I will only stay here during my future visits to NOLA!!!
