Most of the attractions were within walking distance.

The entire hotel staff was amazing and courteous. The location is perfect for anyone looking to be in close proximity to the French Quarter, casino, zoo/aquarium, WWII museum and shops on Canal St. Everything is well within walking distance. I highly recommend the stay as long as you understand that you are in the French Quarter. Great food and drinks & plenty to see

It was for our 32nd wedding anniversary and it was wonderful- the staff was GREAT and the location was perfect- Always a clean room!!

Food Service needs improvement. Only one person working during happy hour to make drinks and snacks.

We booked a king suite. Room was very nice and clean. Hotel staff were great. Very helpful and very nice. Hallways and elevators were hot, but rooms nice and cool. Only complaint was the bed. It was very uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in it. I ended up sleeping on the couch all 3 nights of the trip since it was more comfortable.

Stayed st the hotel with my husband and two daughters. Room was large enough and very clean. Would return.

Great hotel right in the French quarter. Service was awesome and the room was super clean. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Nola!

Close to many restaurants and New Orleans attractions-within walking distance. Bourbon Street is very close, but the hotel is situated where you don't hear the noise from that area. Frenchman street is a long walk away- suggest cab or Uber for that. Superdome walk is a distance, but not bad if you break it up and grab something to eat midway there. Front desk service and valet service excellent with giving advice on restaurants to try. I wish the cafe at the hotel stayed open continuously throughout the day, instead of closing at 10:30 a.m. and then reopening around 12:30pm.

Hotel was nice and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was nice, but toilet was leaking and made noise the entire time. I would have appreciated more information in the room on hotel amenities and the adjacent Ritz Spa. A pool would have been very nice in the hot weather.

Had a wonderful time. Was not aware of the charge for parking a car otherwise we would not have rented one. We didn't even use it.

Great location. Near the action but far enough away for the quiet. Would stay there again though their rates were high in Mardi Gras season.

Overall very good. The parking charge of $38.00+ tax is extreme and the self-park is 2 blocks away. Not a pleasant option for a handicapped person. Limited food options at the Courtyard, but outside options are convenient.

The hotel is wonderfully located a block and a half from Bourbon Street and two blocks from Canal Street in the French Quarter. Despite the central location the hotel itself is tranquil. Hotel amenities are OK (no proper restaurant or bar, but a reasonable breakfast bar), but the rooms are very spacious with a large bedroom and sitting room, each with a large flat screen TV. Rooms were clean and outfitted with a wet bar and refrigerator (staff was a bit stingy with in-room coffee, only one individual pack per day for two guests). One set back was that upon checking in we were told that for the first night we would have a room in a floor that was going to undergo renovations so we would be moved the next day with no room yet identified. The room change went off alright, except that we were told we would be called as soon as our new room was ready, which did not happen (I was also told prior to travel by a staff person that I would be contacted to arrange for a taxi from the airport, which also did not happen). In short, not excellent, but definitely good and I would choose this hotel again.

In town for a national tournament, we had not had a very pleasant experience in New Orleans, to say the least, and we wished we had gone home early. Thankfully, we didn't. For our last night in town, we decided to stay closer to Bourbon St and the French Quarter. Most hotels in the area had some pretty awful reviews, so we landed at the Courtyard Marriott. The front desk staff was very friendly. We arrived early for our reservation, but they got us in immediately and even gave us a free room upgrade. The room was very clean with modern furnishings. Being so close to Bourbon St, you could not hear a thing from the outside, not even cars passing by. I want to call out the housekeeping staff, specifically Lorena, for really going out of their way to take care of us. My wife has very high standards when it comes to hotel beds, usually requesting them to be changed over very nit-picky spots or stains. The staff really exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping came within a few minutes and changed out every sheet, pillowcase, and comforter, even redoing it if they noticed any little mark or stain. Lorena, the manager/supervisor, came up to talk to my wife, and made sure everything was done to her liking. She even offered us points on our Marriott rewards and sandwiches from the hotel cafe for the inconvenience, which was a very nice gesture. Overall, this hotel made for a very pleasant end to our, otherwise, disastrous trip. My wife and I left happy. Thank you Courtyard Marriot!!

Nice hotel close to bourbon st. Only complaint is that the pool is not in this hotel but rather the adjoining hotel and a $10 charge.

Great location at edge of the French Quarter steps from Bourbon keeps you at the edge of the action but insulates you from some of the noise. Easy access to Canal makes travel outside the Quarter a breeze, either by car or streetcar made out travel back and forth to Uptown and the universities and shopping on Magazine very convenient.

Ebony was great help! Very clean beautiful hotel. Great location.

We go to New Orleans every year for a fun getaway. We have stayed in multiple hotels and stayed at the Courtyard Iberville on the recommendation of our son in law. He had stayed there on a business trip and said it was a nice location as we like to stay near or in the Quarter. The entrance to this hotel is hidden in a parking garage drive through. Felt like we were entering through some back door. The room was decorated well. The big issue was the bathroom. Only one person can fit it this tiny bathroom at a time. The lighting is horrible. My wife tried to apply her makeup using the bathroom mirror, hall mirror and mirror by the TV. The lighting was so dim it was next to impossible. We had to ASK to have our room cleaned one night at 6pm. We had been out ALL day only to come home and find out it had still not been done. We had to keep our shades drawn at all times as they were painting or doing some repair work on the building and the scaffolding was outside our window as well as the repairmen. There are no safes in the room so your only option is to use one at the front desk. I laughed when I saw the question about amenities. There are NO amenities at this hotel. I would never stay here again. Oh, and the picture they advertise the hotel with is a picture of the Ritz Carlton!

I came to New Orleans with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Everything was great! Location was perfect and the staff was very accommodating.
