The lobby looks 4-star, but everything else is a disaster. The AC units are decades old, blasting directly onto the pillows, making it impossible to sleep. In both rooms we stayed in, the mattresses and pillowcases had obvious dust mite infestations — I’m highly allergic, and it was literally impossible to breathe. We had to request to move rooms, only to find the same issue. My wife was stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes before housekeeping finally got her out, and in another room the mattress was sloped downward so badly my coworker had to sleep feet-first. Decor may have been updated, but the fundamentals — air, bedding, safety — were ignored. This is hands down the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in years of travel.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Every staff member I have encountered was very welcoming and so helpful. Check-in and checkout was quick and easy. Location was perfect and everything was clean. I just wish the pool was bigger but it was not a deal breaker. Will return again.

Lovely hotel. Brilliant location

When it comes to Boutique Hotels, I'm a little tongue-in-cheek, but the Virgin hotel in Nola hit the mark. Latrell, at front desk was genuinely lovely, very welcoming and professional. The rooms were as pictured Rooftop had lovely views. Swimming pool was a tad small but cute. Eating in the hotel was reasonable, price-wise. My room had a beautiful view. The location was perfect! Away from the madness of bourbon st, but within walking distance. Altogether, a lovely experience
