We were informed 4 days before our visit that the pool and fitness facilities were not available due construction. Upon arrival we were located in a room directly below the construction that began each morning at 630am. This was also accompanied by a broken thermostat in the room. The first night our room was very warm. The following nights extremely cold. I called the desk everyday and asked that it be corrected but nothing was done. Although the staff was courteous, it became obvious that we were simply being ignored. Please beware of this hotel -

It was not a good experience from the start. The lady working in valet was so rude. Customers should know that if you want anything out of your vehicle, you are not allowed to go to vehicle. They have to bring it to you which then makes you feel like you have to tip them. Experience at front desk was no better. This was our first time in New Orleans and they seemed bothered that we asked any questions and directed us to the concierge which was gone for the day. Not sure why they ask if they can help with anti let them know because from the time we were there until we left, the staff seemed bothered if we ask for any help. Asked the guy at the desk for a simple map and told us to go to the concierge and when we said no one was there he just shrugged his shoulders. Thermostat in room is locked. We didn’t have a rug for the bathroom in the room and had to track down the cleaning staff for clean towels and other basic essential for the next day. The bar area was not much different. Couldn’t get anyone to wait on us. It was like we were invisible. We will never stay at an Omni Hotel again. It was way overpriced for the rude treatment and lack of services that should have been provided but were promised. We’ve had much better treatment at a lower cost hotel.

Our room AC never worked. I didnt mind the small bathroom, but they need to have more shelving to put stuff on. The power plugs next to bed would not hold my charging box in. Carpet had alot of stains on it.
