This was my second time staying at this hotel. The thats its in walking distance of everything. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Absolutely will stay again. Only con but not really is that they are remodeling, but it did not disturb my sleep or stay. So thats a good thing getting some updates.

This is the best location for a hotel! It's an easy walk to all the most popular areas including bourbon st, canal st, and royal Street but is far enough away from bourbon street that you can actually get some sleep at night. The staff here is fantastic, they make a point to remember guests and make you feel at home. We came to the hotel to celebrate our wedding and when we told the staff that they went out of their way to make it a special stay for us. Ms Yates was especially kind and made us feel like family. We loved this hotel and when we come back to New Orleans this is the only hotel we would look to stay in.

They had to switch my room upon checking in because it wasn’t cleaned at all. The hotel smelled so old and was stuffy. Everything was dated and the guy who parked me attitude was bad and no one was ever outside to valet my vehicle.

We had exhaust/gas/grease smells in the corridors & elevators. Only two of three elevators worked during our stay and they were constantly blocking an area off to work on the elevator with loud banging and grinding sounds. The outdoor construction caused roof insulation to rain down into the pool and OUR DRINKS while we were trying to enjoy the pool. The pool had a layer of the stuff floating on top. So gross and probably unsafe/unhealthy. Our A/C never worked properly, the front desk said it had to be adjusted from a central location but that never seemed to happen and it always read the same temperature. The $15 daily voucher isn't even enough for one cocktail so you end up spending money. And it's one per day per room not per guest which is ridiculous. Also, we had a member of the staff just walk into our room. They apologized and said his list said the room was vacant. Clearly it was not. Really a disappointing stay and then we get charged a daily resort fee. Unbelievable.

Wont be using them on my next stay!!

I was very dissatisfied with the hotel and even more unhappy with the construction going on while we were staying. The size of the room was unacceptable and we had no room to freely move around. I will say the staff was amazing and gave vouchers for each day we stayed. But we received a knock on the door asking when we were going to check out 2 hours before checkout. I have never experienced that before and.it made me and my boyfriend so uncomfortable that we left before checkout and waited 5 hours until our flight. I willnot be staying here on my next trip to New Orleans. Wasnt worth the amount of money we paid for just 3 days amd it was the off season. Highley dissatisfied in that part of my trip.
