We were never notified about our room being ready. We showed up at 4:30pm with no room available. The staff was extremely rude and not helpful. The air conditioning was stuck at 68° and the refrigerator didn’t work. A minimal discount wasn’t even offered

The room was so old and outdated. The furnishings were peeling, the carpet and the furniture looked like something they found in a garage sale. Obviously, they think they can get away with that because the building is historic. The plugs in the wall were limited and either did not work or were loose to the point they would fall out. They had several plugs on a multi plug cord that was definitely a fire hazard. We had to call maintenance because we couldn’t turn off the shower handle and the toilet wasn’t working properly. There also was an annoying noise that sounded like a drill that would start early in the a.m. We were sent an email shortly before our arrival saying the pool area was closed and that was why we booked the Omni. We were told we could use another pool at another hotel. Are you kidding me? We had robes in our room but were told we couldn’t keep them. Who would want to,,they didn’t even match. Amenities were very limited. The Keurig coffee maker shut down a couple times. The sheets on the bed were ripped. Ice machine in hallway didn’t work. We did not get room service because we opted out to help with “supposed” hunger organization. The balcony needed upgrading and that was another reason we booked this hotel. We got a great view of the side street with people walking by, but nothing else. The entry foyer has stairs to get to the elevator. Elderly or disabled people have a real problem. Getting luggage to room was difficult. A plus, good location.

Terrible hotel building work and pool closed no warning from hotels.com or hotel. Couldn’t check in at stated time told I would be called when available but had to call them at 7.30 pm to get room. Terrible place

When we arrived we were told the pool was closed due to construction but we were able to access a pool a block a way to make up for it. We heard zero construction noises and the staff were very nice and attentive!

We like the Omni normally. We stayed for 3 days and no one ever came to clean our room. There was literally no place to throw the trash by the end of the trip. Maybe they were short staffed but i would normally expect more from the Omni

It’s nice being in the French Quarters. Everything is within walking distance. I didn’t like construction going on and the elevators were slow and unreliable
