Easy check in Friendly staff
The location is great, close to the French Quarter and Frenchman Street (for jazz clubs), and the house itself is interesting with a historic flair. However, it is managed with little care and imagination. Our room (Classic Deluxe, which turned out to be located in a side-building, not in the main house!) was not well kept. The furniture was sparse, and really old and dirty; the room felt empty (no sofa, just two old armchairs, with only a few old prints on the walls--time travel to the 50s or before!). The bathroom shower stall was leaking, the shower-head detached from the ceiling. The breakfast was minimalistic (plain coffee, yogurt, apples, and mini-muffins from a box), and no (or very late?) breakfast one of the days. The reservation included 'drinks and hors d'oeuvres' as amenities--there was none in sight. There is no proper front desk or lobby. Staying in the main house might be a better experience, so make sure to book a fancy room but beware that the property does not really look like in the photos online.
The room had a dirty ceiling fan over the bed. There was only one tiny garbage can which was in the bathroom even though there was a kitchen area. There was supposed to be breakfast served every day which was non existent. There was also supposed to be drinks and snacks, according to the Orbitz booking, which also didn’t exist. There wasn’t much dining nearby but it’s in a walkable area if you don’t mind a half mile or more walk for food. Staff was friendly.
Beautiful property...only complaint...You hear absolutely everything & things get & stay loud on the sreets in Nola...always heard cars, loud music, pedestrians
Wonderful location and room full of New Orleans charm

Location
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great location! Near Bourbon st and Royal st
The bridal suite was a dream! A gorgeous living room/kitchen, and a huge King size bed were perfect for a good night's rest. The elevator went out during our stay, so we had to walk up the four flights of steps to get there; but once we arrived, we were happy to sit on the couch to catch our breath. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay!
Excelent swiming pool, towels and na afternoon wine and cheeses at lobby to guests.. wonderful

I like the location and the shape of the place being that it was build in the 1800's
